Darshan Gas Bar

Love this gas bar. Full serve gas stations are few and far between, so I really appreciate this one....especially in the colder months. Need to start supporting small local businesses more often and less of the big corporations.

If you pay with a card, don't just tap. make sure you check the amount you are paying. They add a couple of bucks on top of the amount displayed by the pump and they hand you over the machine to tap your card. Ask to see the amount you are paying.

Brought my propane tank to get filled as it ran out while bbq’n, brought it home and it didn't work anymore.lSo i brought it back and he said there was too much pressure and starts to release it, then tells me ill have to pay to get it refiled after he drains all the propane iut and burps it. Will never go back

Weird. Weird. Weird. I honestly wonder if this gas bar is a front for something.Prices are ALWAYS 2 to 4 cents more per litre than the Circle K gas bar 100 feet away. Theres never any customers, and its got a bizarre vibe.I moved here from Vancouver almost 2 years ago now and i remember the first time i drove by, Iz noticed this spot as odd. As a new resident in the area, i spent time figuring out where to get gas,smokes,food etc...and of course i notice gas prices in my deciding what gas bar to fill up at.I found the Macs (later to become Circle K) and made a conscious decision to buy items at small independently owned business. I wanted to choose Darshan Gas Bar for this reason. But i noticed the prices were ALWAYS more expensive than surrounding stations. More odd is that gas competition has always been known to be quite fierce at times of price wars, and despite having competition within eye view, this place decides to consistently charge more for gas. That alone is odd.Because of this, i have never seen anyone fill up,park, go inside the kiosk THE ENTIRE 2 YEARS IVE LIVED HERE. I'm not exaggerating. Yet theres always an open sign lit up and a man sitting in the window.How can they afford to stay open? I drive by 4 times a day min...again im not exaggerating, and theres NEVER a customer there. Nor have i seen tankers filling up the gastanks.It doesnt make ANY sense. And ive learned in my 40 years that in life, if things around you dont add up or make sense its because there is something amiss.One day ill go in and ask the gentleman a question.If i get any news, ill be sure to come back and post it here!

One of the few places in the city that pumps the gas for me. Adds oil to my car also. I am a senior on oxygen life support and believe me it is well worth the few extra pennies per liter for me not to get out of the car. Attendant is always polite and friendly with positive energy.

poor customer service, the attendant is very snippy when you ask him any questions. get your gas elsewhere it’s not even cheap

Prices are average for full service. However, full service is almost non existent. Even with no other cars getting gas, I had to go start pumping myself before the attendant came out of the booth to assist.

Wowzers!!! Oh my vishnu!!! This is my absolute favourite gas bar to stop at when i'm in Waterloo! My favourite part of the experience was the people running it, they were very kind and helpful and I really love those boys to death. In the name of Ganesh I recommend this gas bar to anyone.

Great service and owners are always thete to assist. My go to gas bar!
