love the suture out. Very easy to use and no need to sterilize instruments. The sutures are easily collected on the sticky pad which makes it neat and clean. Will continue to use this product and highly recommend!

Very easy and efficient, I never had stitches removed so painlessly

Removing sutures has never been so easy! Love the control you have to precisely cut below the knots to ensure the whole suture is removed. The experience is great for patients as discomfort is minimized by utilizing SutureOut. A great product to have in a nurse’s arsenal.

This products greatly reduced the likelihood or trauma to a newly healed site. It just makes sense.

SutureOut was used to remove four stitches present for over two months in a head wound of an elderly family member. By that time there had been some buildup of scar tissue so it was a challenging situation to carefully remove the stitches without further discomfort. A home-visit physician service required us to obtain a suture removal kit before a doctor could come to take the stitches out. After calling around to retail pharmacies for hours on a provincial holiday, most were closed, and the few that were open were not familiar with suture removal kits. I called SutureOut and Rishi Sethi promptly returned my call, then personally delivered sample kits to the house that day (we were in the same vicinity). He patiently explained how the kits are used. We were able to have the home-visit doctor come later that day and use the product to remove the stitches. I don’t know whether conventional suture removal scissors would have been able to get into the scar tissue in this case without causing considerable damage to the tissues, but the SutureOut blade was able to be used with minimal further damage, especially considering the intricacy of the manoeuvres needed in this particular case. The stitch area healed beautifully within a day or so. I expect that stitches removed after days to a couple weeks (instead of months as in this case) would be very straightforward with this kit. The outstanding service from Mr. Sethi was especially appreciated.

SutureOut really makes the suture removal process easier. As a plastic surgeon I find it less traumatic to my newly healed incisions and patients appreciate the more comfortable process. I am a Children’s Community nurse in the UK and was looking for a safer way of removing stitches for our paediatric patients. At present there is nothing on the market in the UK but SutureOut were able to put me in contact with Rishi who kindly sent us some samples to trial. The team are very impressed with the simplicity of this tool and most importantly the fact that it does not look too scary for a child who may be afraid to see a sharp blade coming towards them. Fingers crossed Rishi will be able to find a way of making them available in the UK soon. The website is very informative too with helpful videos.

I had stitches in my foot that my DR tried to take out and it hurt like hell, he couldn't get them out using his tools without causing me discomfort and after 20 minutes of trying the area started to get really sore so I told him to stop and i'd come back in a few days to try it again...While at home i went on a google search rampage because of the soreness, I was worried and came across SutureOut. I found this product on Google, ordered one, a couple days later I received it in the mail and took them out myself in less than a minute & pain free. I'd recommend this product to anyone.
