One gold star is over rated for the service or friendliness of this SDM Postal Service.Certainly the most unfriendly personal at Canada Post I have ever experience!No hello, no please and thank you, just grumpy and rude.I’m going to drive to St Jacobs little Post Office who provide efficient, friendly, cheerful, polite and enjoy their job.

Went in to send something and was surprised of how much more it cost compare to my previous times. I asked the lady (short hair; looks like she’s in her 60s) why it cost 3x more, it is due to what I send (parcel instead of paper) she implied that I was lying about what I sent before and said ‘she wouldn’t lie for me’.It was not a pleasant experience being accused for lying. I’ve been to other Canada post where the staff watched as I closed the envelope. A better way of phasing it and better customer service would be great!

Picked this location as the Amazon pick-up point for my parcel since I didn't want to risk getting it stolen. Brought in 2 government-issued IDs and my tenancy agreement (I read that it would be a pain in the a** getting your mail here without a proof of address for the place you're leasing). Needless to say, this wasn't enough for the old lady that was working so I had to run to TD to get a bank statement for another proof of address. She was so rude to me even though I was completely polite the entire time. Took me half an hour to obtain my package from here which is ridiculous. I would much rather pick up my mail from the Uptown location next time. Also felt bad for the other people that had to do the same thing I did while I was there (especially the ones who barely spoke English). Terrible service. Makes a nice and very patient person want to throw a fit.

There is an older woman in her 60's who works at this post office location who is extremely rude, unhelpful and clearly has no desire to 'help' customers.I understand (and appreciate!) the Post Office verifying who I am and where I live, for the security of my packages.But to be clear (and as a reminder to post office staff) we need a current driver's license in order to operate our motor vehicles. We do NOT however, need it to operate picking up a package from the local post office - it is only needed to say: this is me and this is where I live" - just like the package in my name and address.I shouldn't have to go all the way home and back again with my passport just to pick up a package because my license expired in the middle of a pandemic.This older woman (Alison) should not be interacting with customers. Maybe put her in the back where she can be alone

Disappointing service. Came in here to send one document away. I asked if it was going to be tracked and the shop assistant said yes. Went to pay for the postage and she told me there was no tracking number. So she added on regular postage with tracked postage, this means I paid twice in order to send one document away. I did bring this up with the shop assistant however due to our mix up in communication or her inability to clarify with me meant that I had to lay for her error. Not all experiences will be like mine but I do suggest if you want tracking you ask for tracking at the beginning and make sure it's not standard!

I have been to this post office 4 times in the last year and each time I've left feeling very stupid and flustered and like I've bothered the person who works here. When I showed up today I didn't recognize the woman working and thought oh good! maybe she's nicer than the other one"

The Canada Post here is so frustrating and they DO NOT know their work at all. They don't bother themselves to bring my items many times while I was at home entire they. Just leaving a notice of delivery and expect that you go to the Northfield to pick it up by yourself. One time I called them and asked whether my parcel are there or not and one rude lady told that there isn't. I didn't give up and called again and this time one man told that I con come and pick up the parcel. They are the worse ppl I have seen ever and do not use their ridiculous service never ever.

This Canada Post by far provides the worst service. There is an old lady that works there who is extremely rude; she has hung up on me talking on the phone before I even finish my sentence multiple times. Even without understanding my request, she makes conclusions and rude remarks before refusing to help. While waiting in line, I've heard her talk rudely to other customers as well. Also, my package has arrived days later after the mailing slip says I can pick it at least 5 times now which is really frustrating. I definitely do not recommend going to this location for your postal services

Absolutely ridiculous, would leave a one star review for every Canada Post in this area if I had the time.As a student living in an apartment/condo, I believe 1-2 items out of 15+ items have been successfully delivered. All of the other times, these lazy drivers leave a notice on my door when there is front desk service, and a DEDICATED CANADA POST DROP OFF BOX JUST FOR THE BUILDING. Waste of my Amazon Prime account for quicker shipping. Don't have a car so I have to waste an hour of my time to bus and get the item. On top of this, after calling many times, they are not willing to attempt to re-deliver any items. One time I even had one of my packages stolen by a driver from my community mailbox last year.Have no idea why the government doesn't privatize this industry, all we get are incompetent delivery people that will probably stay in that job for the rest of their lives. What a joke.
