Alterna Savings - Bay Street Community Banking Centre

I was told the corporate office would be open today on Saturday so that I could transfer funds to my other account when the online function is not working. The person who I called said that I just need to bring my id. Turns out the corporate office is not open on Saturdays. I called a customer service rep when I was standing outside the unopened corporate office who informed me that you were not open on Saturdays. I requested an email from him so I can have instructions in writing about what steps to take to transfer my money out of this bank. He said he would email me before the end of the day but did not do so. I have already submitted a complaint. Please reply in writing about ensuring that I can close my account and have money transferred elsewhere. As polite as your staff are they should give accurate information.

The staff at the Bay Street branch are knowledgeable and friendly. Always provides great banking and investment solutions.

Quality of service is ZERO.Closed when it says they're open on Google. Drove all the way to find outbthe door is locked and no one there. What kind of bank is this? Obviously not a reliable one. Just shows the quality of poor management.

The great staff and services provided were opportune, especially the attention given by the French personal banker was outstanding.

I was skeptical about this bank for the longest time, and seeing by its reviews. But my experience there has been made surprisingly pleasant thanks to a French personal banker, who took the time to explain things to me in details and go over everything together. He has not only showed professionalism, but also amiability. He definitely upgraded my experience there.

Terrible small business bank.No customer service in anyway.They sure take our money though

This is my favourite branch ever. The staff are super friendly and very helpful.I'm always greeted when I enter. The location is very convenient especially if you're taking TTC, it's right at the college station.

This Branch always leaves me extremely satisfied. The front staff greet me as soon as I walk in to their sight lines. And the service is informative and clear. this is not my normal bank, I go there when I am downtown and the treatment I receive is always top notch! Keep it up!

I will give this review 2 stars only because the tellers are very nice. However, the customer service and attitude from the personal bankers is atrocious. We have had several accounts with them for almost 20 years. they use to have exceptional service. Not anymore. We are looking for a new bank. As mentioned by another reviewer, we have experienced the same, they never return calls..never.
