Très bon service, les gens sont souriants et polis. Un beau soucis de la propriétaire de plaire aux clients. Nourritures excellentes et les prix sont très bas.

Toute bonne chose a une fin. L'époque de Madame Bournival et son conjoint est révolue. Client depuis 1975 je constate la dégradation constante de la qualité. Jadis les meilleures frites mais maintenant les plus graisseuses. Et malheureusement le reste est à l'avenant. La viande a mauvais goût, pareil pour la pain. Les gens de Lorrainville fréquenteront cette cantine par habitude mais déjà je rencontre de ces gens à la cantine de Ville-Marie. Et ils me disent ce que mes papilles ont constaté. Dommage pour ce qui était une institution.

La pire expérience de restauration de tous les temps. J'ai attendu 1 heure pour des frites et les frites étaient toutes détrempées et trempées dans l'huile. Les frites sentent trop mauvais et ont le pire goût. J'ai dû jeter toutes les frites. A éviter à tout prix.

First of all let me just say that anybody who knows me knows I love the province of Quebec. One of the big reasons for that is because I’ve never had a bad meal there. This little chip stand is and no different than all the others that I’ve ever been to… Ordered a hamburger and a Poutine. The french fries tasted like they were freshly cut from potatoes and tasted like they were fried in peanut oil.... mmmmmm!! The gravy was made from scratch; not just some powdered or liquid garbage out of the plastic barrel but the real deal, real gravy and the cheese curds were squeaking on my teeth just like real cheese curds should! The hamburger was delicious. The bun tasted like it was fresh out of the oven and then they toasted it on the grill. The patties are made in-house. I mean really does it get any better? Simple food, real ingredients that anybody could put together (if they know how to cook) and the beautiful lush scenery outside the window of la belle province.The lady there did not speak a lot of English and I don’t speak a lot of French so we had an interesting time trying to understand each other but it was fun. I find people in Quebec are so pleasant and absolutely delighted if you attempt to appreciate their unique culture and language and I wish I could live there. Mostly for the food.
