Above and beyond. I had booked a furnace install with another company but catastrophe happened first and he could not get to me sooner. So I was forced to call several furnace installers during a cold snap that caused my pipes to burst. Mater Mechanical was here in 15 minutes of my call and were recommended to me by yet another company that could not book me for weeks. This is a father and Son(s) business that were all wonderful, inspite of my nervous breakdown while everything that could go wrong during severe weather, did go wrong. Not only were they able to handle an EXTREMELY, emotional and hysterical woman fearlessly and like pros, I was completely blown away by their speed, knowledge, ability and fair pricing. I will absolutely have them back for future work for a renovation project in progress and I will sing their praises for years to come, 10 stars! I would also like to add that I have never written a review for a contractor in my life. I have a book of horror stories on contractors, and it was very hard for me to beg for help and trust someone, but the sheer size of the disaster forced me to step way beyond my comfort zone or freeze and drown in a flooding house. It was a tough choice. These gentlemen have restored my faith in good, honest, people, and if they can't do something I need done in the future, I will definitely ask them for recommendations. A thousand thank you's isn't enough for how truly grateful I am to them.

First call I got through, was given a number to text the details of the issue and address of the property to an employee. I did so, didn't hear anything back. Next day texted again to see if he'd been out to the job, the results, etcNo reply still. Waited again.Had guests coming (it's an Airbnb) so I called elsewhere the next day.The problem was not occurring when the other plumber got there, but he had to charge for the call, of courseDid it self correct? Did Maters fix it but never reply to me? No idea.Communication is nice...

I am IMPRESSED! OUR SEWAGE pump failed last night leaving a horrible stinky mess in the bathroom one call this morning and all is well in less than 2 hours! Another good reason to utilize local tradesmen! Prompt efficient and professional!

Very impressed with this dad and son company. They gave an unbeatable quote for a new AC install, worked quickly and professionally. Our luck the same day the motor blew on the new unit and the son came after hours to diagnose and replace the part at no extra charge. Would recommend this company for all your mechanical needs!

They never received a call and never call back. Very unprofessional. Plumber came to repair the pipeline..instrad of repai they cloge the whole pipeline. They leave the place without any solution and any notice. They rise the solution instead of solve ot.

Dale and Mike are very professional and do a great job! Our cottage plumbing has been getting a major renovation and they have been fantastic at navigating the weird state of our system.

He came out to look at my furnace on December 27th, ordered a new part and had it fixed the next day. The furnace worked great the rest of the winter. He explained everything in detail about what was happening with the furnace and how he came to the conclusion of what was broken and charged a fair price. I'd recommend them and will be calling them if I have any other issues.

He sent a technician over twice, and neither time did they fix the problem. They also overbilled us, and tried to charge again for job never completed. This company is running a racket. Consider other options first!
