Don't waste time at the self wash. To load large dogs they have a steep ramp that rolls around(had to lift my big dog in) then waited 10 minutes for the soapy water to then realize the shampoo bottle was empty. I used another shampoo and then when I went to dry my husky they had 1 towel which was soaked as soon as I started drying him. Since they charge for minutes after the initial 15 for $10" and my dog was soaking wet I just walked away before using the blow dryer. Otherwise I would have probably ended up paying $50 for a quick wash . At petValu you get lots of towels and no limit on the wash all for just $10"

Best pet store in Lloydminster! The staff are SO friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and eager to help. They will answer any questions you have about the products, and will go to great lengths to get you what you and your pet needs.They will help you carry heavy purchases out to your car, which is always so helpful when you have bought a lot, including a large bag of dog food!They have a fantastic self-serve bath station. I love that it's self-serve because one of my dogs is antsy around strangers and would probably not do well with a groomer. The facility is always clean, has great water pressure, great shampoo products, and a fantastic blow dryer that always gets my dogs nice and dry. They also provide all the towels you need. I love bathing my dogs there instead of at home, as it is so much easier and I don't have to bend down to the level of the bathtub (which hurts my back).Sometimes they give my dogs treats, which they of course absolutely love. And they even occasionally can take photographs of your pets to place on their Facebook page - yay, 10 minutes of fame ;) Haha.They have such a vast array of treats and my dogs always LOVE it when I go there and buy them some yummy goodies. They especially love the braided bullies, and Whimzees, which both take a while for them to consume, thus capturing their attention and keeping them occupied!The staff have always remembered mine and my wife's name, from the very first visit. They are so personable and have really become like friends to us.They have various offers always going on, for instance on Thursdays there is a 15% discount on treats. Currently they have their annual customer appreciation week going on, and I was able to get discounted food, bullies, and Whimzees for my dogs.They really are superb, and the ladies who work there do an astounding job. I always love seeing their faces, and visiting the store is always a joy, for both me and my dogs. I recommend them to anybody looking for a pet store or pet products.I also want to add that they do not endorse rawhide and do not sell any rawhide - or any damaging, dangerous or harmful products - whatsoever. A very ethical company!

Great store, great staff, both helpful and knowledgeable. I had figured out that one of my girls (aka dogs) may have a legume sensitivity, and I already know she can't each chicken. I go in and ask for a food with no corn (they don't have any with corn!), no chicken, no legumes, preferably lamb based... and the girl I was talking to knew immediately what to try. She knew the history of the company, where they sourced their ingredients. I felt confident, and lo and behold, the food is fantastic. My girls love it, and the oldest has no more skin issues.I highly recommend going here for your dog food. The foods are great quality, they don't have any with ingredients from China, and they remember their regulars." :)"

Been going to this location since it opened was called an a@# hole by young blonde girl working there today because I asked for regular treats (meaning biscuit style not chewy) as my dog will not eat the other ones. This is a major disappointment as we have been through three different brands of dog foods with these guys as our original was purchased by pedigree and changed ingredients that didn't meet pet planets standards. Looks like I will have to go through this again as I refuse to shop where I get treated like that . Can't wait to contact owner.
