Miller Optometry

I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience today. The entire eye exam process was seamless. The staff and Dr were very professional and friendly. They even repaired an older pair of glasses for me at no charge. Give them a try for your next eye exam. You won’t be disappointed.

I honestly cannot say enough about our experience here. Prior to going to Miller optometry, my husband and I went to FYI on Portland Street and we were treated so very poorly. It has been 4 years since we have been able to get our eyes tested, and our experience with FYI has haunted us to this day. We both had eye exams at Miller optometry today and I highly recommend them. I did not meet Lashawnda, I hope I spelled her name correctly, but her customer service on the phone was impeccable. Our experience with Jenna the optician was above par. The doctor was friendly, empathetic, thorough and showed genuine concern and care throughout the entire exam. We were immediately greeted with warmth and friendliness. Even our dogs were welcome into the clinic without hesitation. Many people dread going to the dentist however, we dread going to the optometrist. That changed for us today. Thank you so much for everything you all do collectively.

I am a newcomer and came to this clinic for my first eye exam ever in Canada. I have only good things to say about them: 1) Starting with the staff at the front desk (receptionist and opticians), they were super attentive and friendly all the time. 2) The doctor that day was Dr. Nicole Sampson, who diagnosed me with intraocular hypertension (not glaucoma), so she had me do a test called Visual Fields to get a baseline with my eyes since I don't have any medical records in Canada. 3) I bought my glasses in their Dartmouth branch and the opticians who took care of me were wonderful (thank you, Shauna and Alison). 4) They also have staff that speak French, Spanish and Arabic (a big plus). Highly recommended!

First time here and all of the staff were incredibly helpful. Kathleen the optometrist was very friendly and informative and Tera at the counter was absolutely wonderful. Cannot recommend enough.

Wonderful experience!The ladies at Miller Optometry were very knowledgeable, helpful and fun to be around. The optometrist and assistant were both very thorough during my eye exam. Afterward, Alison assisted me in getting my first pair of glasses and knew exactly what type of frames I liked.Thank you to the entire team!

Good Customer Service is tested when you have a customer who is having a problem.Tara, the Optician at Millers Halifax location, is an example of what caring professionals can do to resolve problems and reassure customers that their concerns are taken seriously.This is what Tara did for me. I will always be very grateful for her thoughtful kindness and professional help.

I have been going to Miller Optical for a number of years now, always being satisfied with my eye care, however today was my first appointment as a new mom and I am touched by how supportive and accommodating staff were. Great quality of care, professionally and personally.

I have been going to Miller Oprometry for years and I find the customer service as declined in the last couple of years. I went in to get my glasses adjusted which I do on a regular basic and this time I found the lady they attended to me was not the best. She did a couple of adjustments to my glasses and I tried them on and they weren't what I liked, she said they were find and they should be ok well they are not cause they still slide down my nose. This may sound petty to others but to me it is not I know how my glasses should feel on my face and I tried to tell her they weren't sitting right, I felt the my concerns weren't hers and it was like she was rushing me out the door. I also brought my sunglasses in to get new lenses cause they were scratched and still under warranty the same lady served me and told me they would call for me to bring my other glasses in and it's now been almost 2 weeks and still never heard back. I do have an appointment for my 2 year check up with Dr.Muise in Sept and I will keep that appointment because I love her and she cares very much about her patients, but if she gives me a new prescription I am thinking that maybe it is time to find another place to fill that prescription. I work with the public and customer service is top priority to me so I would expect the same service.Thank youDonna

I was there today! In Dartmouth, Dr. Sampson was very nice and did not rush! Took plenty of time to answer all my questions! I would return there for sure for my next exam!!
