Lively, ambient, authentic. The amazing staff and service will have you returning! This place offers it all for a good price point. Their Carbonara Udon stole the show, but the JFC AKA Karaage and Pressed Salmon Sushi were no small additions.1 recommendation is perhaps the salmon sushi can be enhanced in flavour with a sauce or other garnishes. The Karaage pieces are crisp and hot but can be smaller in size for easier munchin.

Perfectly portioned entrees, meaning, if you are very hungry, you may want to order an extra appetizer. I had the Curry and liked it. The place was loud and joyful. Great place for a first date or a group of friends. The staff was nice.

Menu is short on selection but staff is super friendly and gives fast service. Unfortunately my cousin’s Eel Rice bowl was mostly rice so she didn’t finish her meal. Edamame was ok. Tofu was drowning in soy sauce so it got soggy real quick.

Good choice of Japanese food. Menus are too large. I would prefer to take a single dish. We took a menu for 3 people and it was too much for us. Single dishes are really good. If you like fish, from all I tried, I suggest Sashimi Mori!Do Sake-Bomb Ritual!!! You will enjoy it ❤️

Came here for dinner with the boys on a Sunday night. Although we luckily didn’t have to wait for a table, the place was packed so I’d recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The food at Kinka never really disappoints. Some of our favourites we ordered were the gyu carpaccio, takoyaki, and the oshizushi. Usually service speed is very reasonable at Kinka, but this location seemed to be a bit slower/understaffed. That being said though, the staff were polite. If you’re looking for a fun and lively place to grab drinks and tapas, I’d recommend this spot or one of the other Kinka locations.

I had a lot of high expectations for this place. We went for their Valentine's special 9 course menu, so I understand if they are really busy to maintain the quality of some of the dishes. There were a few dishes that we really loved, but some we weren't sure about, hence why the 3 stars. Starting off the miso soup was good. The salmon tataki and oshizushi were not it for me personally. I feel like it was torched a bit too much and just didn't taste as good as I've had better to compare. Like I've said, they must've been in a rush as they were really busy serving up for several customers ordering the same thing. The matcha cheesecake and the kinoko cheese bibimbap were nothing special either, but it was definitely really interesting because it was different. For the beef Carpaccio It was my first time eating it so I wasn't sure what to expect. I loved the prawn tempura and karage. The batter was crispy and light, and the prawn and chicken itself was juicy. What really stood out for both of us was the oyster kakimayo and the beef shabu salad. There were so many different ingredients and textures to it, and we loved the packed flavors. The service was really amazing, props to the staff who kept their best to keep up with the orders and getting our food to us fast. The atmosphere was defiently nice but I would've liked to see more. We would defiently come back here to try other menu items as I knew it was a popular store

They surpass my expectations, especially in terms of food quality. There is a big selection for both food and drink. We tried many small dishes (quick bites, appetizers, and dessert), and they are pretty tasty, well worth the price. It's often busy but the staff is quick and professional. The atmosphere is young and lively, suitable for friend gathering.

Went here on a Friday evening before Raptors game. Please make reservations if you go at this time, coz this place is busy. We did not expect it and thus git bar seats, which is alright. They have a fun vibe. The problem was the service and the food. The staff was polite but inattentive. Having to ask for water 2-3 times puts a damper on the experience. The food was alright. We ordered a bunch of tapas. Fried brie with blueberry & mango sauce - the sauces were really good; Fried tofu - soggy and chewy crust; fried chicken was alright. It was not the best experience overall for $20/head and may not recommend the place unless you have no other option.

Absolutely fantastic! Fresh, authentic Japanese food! We came 19 mins before kitchen closed, and we said it's ok. They insisted on us dining with them! We ordered so many things, food started coming out right away, and didn't stop. We also ordered sake and Sapporo beer. Some food off the Al'a carte menu, some from special menu. Staff were all kind and working hard, friendly as can be, even tho we were the last table there. Much appreciated everyone!
