Emily Provincial Park
Emily Prov Park is quite a nice park. We had a good sized site for our 35' 5th wheel. Lots of the sites are a nice size with varying amounts of privacy. I should mention though that as we walked around, you can see many of the sites have side slope and front to back slope making it difficult for some people setting up trailers. Keep an eye on the site details when booking. The beach is very nice with a marked off swimming area. The sand beach was groomed and cleaned with equipment at least one morning when we were there. This beach and Campground is on the Pigeon River at the south tip of Pigeon Lake. It is quite wide though so looks like part of the lake. My wife was out on her paddle board. This location was great for this but the water is shallow with lots and lots of weeds. We like cycling and the Kawartha rail trail is a short distance away. But this county road is extremely busy and lots of gravel trucks so we trucked our bikes to the trail crossing. The overall appearance of the park was clean and well kept. We'll be back.

Camped for a week in Emily PP with my wife, daughter and two grandchildren. Sites were really nice. Park staff I would have say could be the friendliest out of all the PP we have been to. Also very clean. Bathrooms were cleaned 3 or more times a day. The complete park was really well maintained. They also have really good ice-cream at park store. The one scoop cone was two all three time we got ice-cream. My only disappointment was not really good park programs during our stay.

Love this park! I go here often in the summer to rent paddle boards. Cost $20 for 2 hours. Park staff are super helpful and friendly

Beautiful spot for a day trip. Well maintained grounds, plenty of space for launching canoes, kayaks, and boats, rentals and store onsite. There's also a great marsh trail and two beaches to choose from.

We were here for a day hike! We wandered around the main road and campsites, but there's an actual 'Marsh trail' further into the park from the main entrance.Main road is paved, campsite paths vary between paved and unpaved. Unpaved trails are almost all at least a bit muddy and have the odd ice/snow patch. No crazy changes in grade.Park seems well-maintained and is fairly easy to navigate despite the interesting layout of the park!

First time camping at a provincial park and Emily Provincial Park didn't disappoint at all. Clean and tidy park. Great place to enjoy the outdoors and sleep at night.

Emily Provincial Park
Great park for family camping. I got the group camping with my friends. They have 3 spots for group camping and each camp site has its own outhouses , one for boy and one for girl. We got the #502 because the outhouses are in a separate spot next to the camping site, and there are lot of big trees for shading and privacy for all the tents ( don’t choose site #501, the outhouses are inside the campsite). The outhouses seem reasonably clean and there is a sink for you to wash your hand so bring hand soap. The park is well maintained and clean. The trails are easily and enjoyable to walk. The beach is quite big and clean but weedy. The playground is big enough for kids to play. There is a store selling camp fire wood, ices, ice cream, and souvenirs. They also have rental for kayaks and stand up paddle board. The bad things are they don’t have enough shower stations and charging station.

We had a fantastic weekend camping in Emily Provincial Park with my family and friends. The RV campsites were really nice, and we enjoyed our time there. The park staff were friendly. While the bathrooms were cleaned regularly, they weren't as great as the ones in Presqu'ile Provincial Park or Algonquin Provincial Park. One thing that stood out to us was how well-maintained the entire park was. The trails, although small, were well-maintained, and we had a pleasant time exploring them. The beach was also small but enjoyable. Another highlight was the park store, which had delicious ice cream. The location of the park was excellent, and we were pleased to find that there were stores nearby for any shopping needs. We didn't have to worry about running out of supplies or essentials during our stay. However, our only disappointment during our time at the park was that there was a power outage, resulting in the water supply being shut down. As a result, all the washrooms with running water were closed. Additionally, the dumping station was also closed, which was inconvenient for us as we had an RV. We had to drive to Darlington Park to dump our RV tanks, which was an unexpected inconvenience.Overall, despite the temporary challenges with the water supply and RV dumping, we had a great camping experience at Emily Provincial Park. It was a memorable weekend with our loved ones.
