After driving around 3 hair salons on a Monday, David Kim salon took me in with no appointment. I came in with extremely dry and damaged hair. Lucy washed my hair extremely thoroughly and it felt like a great massage, the shampoo smelled great. Afterwards, I got my hair cut by David Kim. He paid attention to detail and used great quality products. My hair looks a lot less damaged and more organized and healthy now. A lot of effort went into my cut and I appreciate the fact that he didn't cut corners but took his time sectioning and drying/cutting my hair and showing me the products. Overall very friendly and clean atmosphere.

Not a typical wash, cut and style appointment. Blew me completely away. I was taken on such a relaxing journey that left me feeling like a new person. A huge thank you to David for helping me fall back in love with my hair and myself. It is such a huge honour to have David care for my hair and take me on such a wonderful journey. I have never met someone who cared for my hair to the degree that David did. His knowledge, expertise and passion shined throughout my entire visit. David truly caters to his clients’ needs and recommends only the best. I walked in with troubled hair with scalp issues and walked out with healthy hair and scalp. David is a true master of his works.I appreciate that the salon is strictly by appointment only (even if you just want to purchase products). This allows a very calming atmosphere without the typical salon traffic and noises from other clients or visitors. I also appreciate that there was no sense of urgency. That I was the sole focus during my visit - which is rare in a regular salon setting. Well sanitized and organized in all areas.Thank you to David and Lucy for being so amazing! I recently had my hair and makeup done by David and Lucy for my prom. They provided wonderful service with tea and snacks, and I loved the way they paid attention to all the details of my hair. You can tell they really care about making sure their clients look their best. David was also super fun to chat with and made my appointment very enjoyable!

This salon is actually amazing, from its environment, service, to products! I got a haircut there and it even came with hair wash and hair treatment, which made my hair extremely shiny and soft compared to how damaged it was before the treatment. It even brought out the red colour that I dyed a while ago which was turning brown.The haircut was exactly what i had hoped for and i am obsessed with how it turned out: it felt so much lighter on my hair and at the same time created more volume, which was perfect! It goes well in so many hairstyles.I will definitely come back next time, thank you :)

Had a phenomenal first visit to this hair salon. Lucy gave me a great haircut and David (the owner) went out of his way to chat with me and made sure I was well looked after. They took extra time to make sure everything was perfect. Never had an experience like this before. Excellent!

I came to this place after my hairstylist, Lucy, moved here. The place is clean and has a warm interior, making you feel welcomed in the store.I had a haircut, aroma scalp therapy as well as shampoo service for my visit. I have been going to Lucy for over a year and not once has she failed to make me look exceptional - and this time was no exception. She is incredibly skilled, caring and passionate about her work, and the result truly shows.Aroma scalp therapy was something I have never tried before, and I wish I had known about it sooner because the experience was amazing. Essential oil was applied generously on my scalp which was then thoroughly massaged. Apparently this is good for your hair health and for stimulating growth? I am not too sure about that but it felt really really good.Shampoo service was pretty much what you would expect. A thorough cleansing of your hair with warm water and shampoo, then drying with a towel and hairdryer. The overall experience was soothing, although I might have been feeling biased due to the scalp therapy I had. The towels felt soft and fluffy, which is not always the case at other places.Overall, a fantastic place that I would recommend to anyone. Before the visit, I wasn't too sure about coming here regularly since I don't live around the area, but this experience convinced me that I made the right choice. Hopefully you will give David's place a try as well!
