TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

Dion helped me out a lot today. Easy line messed up AGAIN and she was able to do tasks that other tellers told me they couldn’t. I really appreciate your assistance today Dion and I wish all of TD’s employees could be as helpful as you!

I have been a client at TD Canada Trust for over 8 years, but I will be ending my relationship with them in the very near future. I have had two mortgages with them, and recently renewed our existing mortgage with them. My family holds 5 different accounts through this branch, and we exclusively use TD Visa. Up until yesterday afternoon, I would have considered myself to be a very loyal TD customer.We bought a new house in May, and had several meetings with Leanne to discuss financing. Despite giving them plenty of time to arrange a mortgage for us, they still did not have our paperwork ready on time for the possession of our new house. Had we not called 48 hours before we took possession, we never would have even known that there was a problem. When we asked Leeanne why she didn't contact us to let us know that there was a problem, she said it was because she was hoping that it would all sort itself out before our possession date. With less than 36 hours before possession, she still thought she had another 48 hours. We are still left wondering what would have happened had we not called to ask what was happening with our paperwork. Had she notified us when she first understood that there was a problem, this issue could have easily be remedied.Frankly, dealing with this branch has been absolutely infuriating - their incompetence, rudeness and general unprofessionalism is astounding. The district manager of sales reassured us that everything was taken care of yesterday evening, but today the branch manager told us differently. Both of them were not prompt in returning calls, and the branch manager, Kerry, seemed annoyed to even have to deal with this problem. I had no sense that they cared that they were losing our business.For the record, the problem was not in our qualifying for a mortgage, but rather TDs ineptitude in understanding the process for funding a mortgage plus build. If you are in the market for a mortgage, run the other way. There are plenty of other lenders who will be happy to have your business.

I went to deposit a large amount of cash in the drive thru atm. It couldn’t count one hundred dollar bills and ate my money and then asked me to type in the amount of my deposit instead of returning the cash. I was on the phone for over an hour at 4 am in the morning. Now they are investigating my transaction which will take upto 5 business days. Uggghhh what a nightmare. I can’t even call anyone at the branch because their phone line is so convulatec. Your calls go into a vortex and never get answered.!!!!

Lucas BoalerThe best of the best people i ever met. I went with my mother and siblings to this bank and ive never been more greatful with the kindness at this bank. All employees were amazing and we had lucas omg. He was so amazing funny sweet charming he had a amazing personality that is very rare to find he helped us with all of our troubles and we know being a big family we can be annoying and each one of us takes alot of time but he was so patient and understanding my mothers english sometimes isnt that strong and he talked to her in such a way she understood i wanted to truly thank him from the bottom of my heart and i wish him only success. I went with my kids to get bank statement and deposit this amazing location as soon as we walked through the doors welcomed us with so much kindness Lucas Boaler was not just the sweetest most amazing enthusiastic customer service person ive ever met. Seriously you can tell hes passionate about his job and his clients. He was the best bank and customer service person ive ever met seriously. Im so greatful you guys found such an amazing person to represent this amazing company. I wanted to sincerely thank him for his kindness and patience with us. I hope this gets to a manager because he deserves all the recognition in the world. Hes a wonderful man and i wanted to sincerely thank him a million times.

Worst bank I’ve ever been with. Closed my account right away. Don’t waste your time.

When are you going to fix your direct deposit and debit cards? I need my paycheck, TD.

Have had to continually deal with this bank for over the course of 2 years and flat out frustrated how they manage to lose signatures and documents, called every month for a year and never got an updates, until a year later they told me they don't have my documents anymore and that I would have to come back in with people who have since moved on - hence coming in to do a signing change more than once. No one ever emailed or called me back after my signing appointment to switch authorized signatures on our account. Super unprofessional, TD as a whole, is just frustrating to deal and can't seem to help complete a simple task.
