I really wish I could give this 6 or 7 stars. Hook's has high quality stock. & they seem to be able to attract & keep the best of employees.... they actually spoil me. I buy 95% of my lumber & hardware there, & they stock stuff that you wouldn't expect to find in a lumberyard/hardware store in a very rural area..... like stainless steel fasteners ........ they stock more than any 3 big box stores" would carry. Their prices are more than fair

Outstanding service and help from this establishment1On our bicycle trip to Bon Echo Proovincial Park my bike's pannier hook up broke and I stopped at Hook's Castle. Not only was the old screw drilled out but the gentleman tapped and locktite a new screw to my pannier so i could safely continue on our trip.Without their help I would not have been able to continue as there was no bike store even close to us.We will be back next year again and drop in for supplies - hopefully no emergency nor rain!Thank you for this great experience in service excellence !

We are building a small ICF home and its a bit remote. Hooks is well stocked, service is excellent and Tracy Hook is very knowledgeable. Hard to find items are in stock at Hooks, Recommend

Customer service is good. Yes.But how they handle they're student employees is another issue. All people in ontario are protected by the same laws. Employment standards are not just for adults. Be mindful how you dismiss and or terminate someone from you small town company. Individuals who work pst there company probation period can't be simply dismissed. The youth of today may not now there're rights or understand them. That doenst mean that you don't have to treat them with respect.I will not be spending my money here anymore these kids are the future and what your company did was wrong..

I have been dealing with Hook's Castle for several years now. The staff is well-informed, helpful and friendly. The store and yard are well-stocked with everything the cottager/homeowner might need PLUS they deliver! I am so pleased with the quality and service offered at this store that my wife and I made them the exclusive supplier of all our building materials when we recently had a large addition (plus roof, siding, windows) built on our home. This is a wonderful, family-owned business!

I have frequented Hooks many times over the years. They’ve provided my friends, family and I with essential materials for our nearby trailer.There ain’t a better feeling then walking into a store riddled with anxiety, not having knowledge of what product I may require to be immediately relieved by the friendly and experienced staff.Thank you so much to all staff who take pride in assisting new and old customers by providing efficient customer service.This establishment has me hooked!

I've taken all my business to Hook's over the past 15 years. While the product offering is comparable, it's the helpful and friendly service that brings me back. For example, when I needed a small hand tool for a first time flooring job, they were out of stock - so Tracy Hook lent me his for the few days I needed it. Wow. That doesn't happen at a Big Box store.

I do not go to hooks anymore because I was not treated right by SANDI.I walk into that store with my face exemption on and Sandi's response was rude.So I am much happier with who I deal with now.And the thing was I really enjoyed going in there.Oh well...there lose

I cannot express how great the service is at HOOKS. They're staff inside and outside are so polite and helpful. My father and I have been going there for years and we choose to give them as much business as we can. Tracy and his wife are so kind when you are shopping there. For great service, decent prices and good quality lumber/hardware, etc, please try to visit Hooks Rona just outside of Cloyne. We love it !! One of them even went out of the way to come over and help my Dad with a plumbing issue and my dad was so pleased with the service from the girl. They're all so professional !
