We arrive minutes before it opened and we had an hour for a self guided tour which meant we could read about 1/2 of the interpretive signs. We might have been able to read more, but we photographed a lot of displays and coveted the lovely classic car. There was a LOT to take in and as I mentioned we spent a good deal of time taking photos of details and things we might need as a reference once we’re back at the office. It was disappointing that the water fountains appeared to not be working properly and also the fingerprint scanner didn’t seem to register the presence of my fingertip.Visit Sharkz.ca for awesome RCMP challenge coins :).

Great police/crime museum, and beautiful building! Lots of interesting artifacts and information, and I was glad to see an exhibit dedicated to northern sovereignty. I'd definitely recommend a visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were able to be there for the trooping of the post I recommend making it if you can it is at noon. The museum is very interesting and will take a couple hours if you want to take time to enjoy. The chapel is beautiful and makes you feel that Western plains feel. The bathrooms are clean and the gift shop has a good selection. It is very kid friendly with items for each age group. The museum is also accessable for elderly and physically challenged. The people that work here are kind and professional. Should meet a RCMP officer they are also very professional.

The RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina is a captivating tribute to the iconic Royal Canadian Mounted Police. This immersive experience takes visitors on a journey through the rich history and proud traditions of the RCMP. The museum showcases a remarkable collection of artifacts, exhibits, and interactive displays that bring to life the fascinating stories of the Mounties. The well-curated exhibits showcase the evolution of the RCMP, highlighting their role in shaping Canada's history and maintaining law and order. The museum does an excellent job of presenting both the historical context and the modern-day responsibilities of the RCMP, offering a comprehensive understanding of their impact on Canadian society.Visitors have the opportunity to explore various aspects of RCMP training, including an authentic RCMP Depot experience, where you can test your skills in the training simulator and gain a deeper appreciation for the rigorous training process. The museum also features a memorial wall paying tribute to fallen officers, creating a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made in the line of duty. The interactive displays engage visitors of all ages, making it a great educational experience for families. Children can try on Mountie uniforms, hop into a police car, and participate in hands-on activities that offer a glimpse into the life of an RCMP officer.Whether you have a personal connection to the RCMP or simply have an interest in Canadian history, this museum is a must-visit destination in Regina. I enjoyed how interesting this museum is and how well put together it is and how they take you on tours of the barracks and how you get a chance to see the chapel and a few very cool things! I also enjoy how they have a section for you to try on outfits, as my uncle is an RCMP so that's another reason I love going.

Had a nice tour at the RCMP, very nice and cool place to learn about the Canadian police forces. Going around you can find memorial cathedral, church and cool gift shop as well. Over all great experience!

We had a few groups that were just so loud I couldn't fully enjoy it or hear myself think. There was a scavenger hunt and kids just zooming all over the place disregarding personal space. There was a woman just having a business conversation on her phone the whole time I was there, passing around and just yelling in her phone. SERIOUSLY, couldn't do this outside? We had an hour left before heading off to Saskatoon, and this really left a bad last impression for Regina.I am usually very patient and tolerable but that really activated my almonds. I came to learn about the RCMP, not hear why Allen didn't want to pitch in the deposit for a new lease in town. When I could enjoy some space on my own, yes the exhibits really take you in. Lots to read and learn, many items to marvel at.Was lucky enough to meet Indi who unfortunately was deemed too shy for RCMP dog school. She was very adorable.

It’s mainly a lot of reading about about the history of the RCMP. Nicely laid out and interesting. Kids under 12 will be bored.45mins - 1 hour will be sufficient time to see everythingThere needs to be more of an effort to describe the indigenous relationship with the RCMP from the perspective of the indigenous peoples of Canada - Such as the RCMP’s role in the residential schoolsWe can’t move forward if the mistakes and horrors of the past are not even acknowledged, especially in formal settings
