They Called an hour before my appointment to tell me reception made a mistake and to reschedule. Rude and unprofessional service. Left to little lake optometry much better serviceResponse to their responseNo. 1st I don't have a son I have a daughter2nd this did not happen i was called half hour before saying it is canceled3rd i found a new optometrist who saw us days later and had found problems this optometrist previously brushed off and now the specialist is wondering why Shaw optometry hadn't done more.

Refused to provide a copy of my own prescription that had been provided in the past. At first they said it was expired, then they said if I wanted it, I would have to pay $50. Which is it?? Warning, avoid at all cost.

I also wanted to add when the optometrist finally came out (after waiting 30 mins from my appointment time) he did not greet me or tell me his name. He immediately went into telling me about how he doesn’t normally do this and that it was wasting his time.Honestly after the treatment, I am scared for his patients. I would not trust this doctor to come even close to my eye when he can’t even see the patient.Update: I have scheduled a new eye exam at a different, more professional optometrist. Regarding their response, rigged full of lies. I suggest people again do not trust this optometrist, when he again can’t listen to his patients and understand they must be frustrated when waiting 30 minutes after appointment time. He never apologized nor introduced his name. If you don’t care for costumer service especially when you have to trust them with your eyes, then go here!

Times noted I would have to wait and the reality of how long I waited were VERY different...told the guy who seemed in charge I was in a rush and he assured me things would be done in the time he promised, NOPE...Additional info provided after your response on March 6th: It was the first time I was going to use your company when this happened, ended up waiting a LONG time (4 times plus longer than what was promised if I remember correctly) so I gave up and left...as I noted, if you promise a time, and do not fulfill it, not cool, again, not the worst thing in the world which is why a 3 star and not lower, but still not cool...so you know, no malice intended...

Excellent experience. Dr Singh is amazing. He took time to understand, examine and explain the issue very methodically. Will recommend Dr Singh to everyone who requires someone to take care of their eyes. Staff at front desk was very pleasant and hardly any wait time.

Shah optical left a message on my phone reminding me that I had an appointment the following week, but had added that if I didn't call them back by the end of the day, they'd cancel it. I was reallly angry about this and complained but since then, they have apologized, offered to change their messaging and were conscientious enough to do so. I'm really happy they did this as I have been going to them for several years with good results.

I was welcomed right away and taken into my appointment within minutes. Very friendly staff. I was most impressed with Dr. Singh. He asked me detailed questions about my sight, my viewing habits. And he explained each step as he was going through and gave me a very thorough exam. It made me feel very comfortable about the health and status of my eyes and what needed to be done with my glasses. Highly recommended.

It was excellent! Very detailed and every step was clearly explained. I have never had such a detailed examination. The staff was also extremely friendly. The optometrist went above and beyond to ensure I get the proper prescription.

This was my first visit and I was very pleased as Dr Shah was very kind and explained everything to me. He was very detailed and I left feeling good about my visit. I haven’t had an eye doctor explain things to me and take the time to go through the process. I will be returning in 6 months for another test. I will be recommending him to friends and family. The woman at the front desk was also very kind and helpful as well.
