CIBC Branch with ATM

CIBC has bad customer service my money has been kept in my credit for months now keep sending me to different departments they say it’ll be back shortly nothing not a good bank at all

Way too invasive and time wasting. I was changing coins in clear wrappers to cash. First I was told I had to be an account holder, which I am. Then I had to swipe my card. Then I had to give him my business name and address and postal code. Then I had to write my name on a piece of paper. Then he had to look something up. It should not take nearly 10 minutes, and more identification than getting on a plane, to change a roller quarters for a 10-dollar bill.

Positives: Ira is always very helpful and is easy to talk with. I highly recommend seeing her for any inquiries you have. The instant teller machines, which I am not used to using are convenient if you want to skip the line and the human tellers.Negatives: on multiple occasions I have had to wait in line for 30 minutes or more. All except one teller have either been one or all of the following: rude, treating you like you are dumb, unhelpful, disrespectful.If it wasn't for Ira and her helpfulness, I would be switching back to a previous or new bank.

I went in to make a deposit and inquired about another service. I was told by one staff that I would need an appointment and they were booking into the second week of September. The teller got me in to see someone within 10 minutes. I was greatly impressed.

Lines are long which is fine but the workers are slow and inconsistent. There is almost a line out the door and there’s only one worker present. Not the first time this has happened either. I’ve been sitting in line for 30 mins and I still haven’t been helped. Ridiculous. Always makes me contemplate to switch banks.If you are in a rush, don’t go to this bank.

Waited in line behind no one for about 5 minutes while the customer service agent walked about without greeting me or informing me she would be with me in a moment etc. Upon (finally) being helped" she told me she didn't understand how

I went to go get a loan and was discriminated against because I can't wear a mask. The manager didn't even care about my concerns with their policy and wouldn't take a formal complaint. I will be taking my money out and giving my business to another bank after almost 20 years who doesn't discriminate. I've had countless other issues over the years with CIBC and just feel they aren't a bank who values or cares about their customers. As others have stated every time you go into this location the staff stand around and ignore people rather than helping customers. A small line of just a couple people will take them like half an hour to get through with several client service reps visible.

I had a very bad experience with cibc Notre dame branch.I opened an account in 2021 with an offer of $300 for new clients.Staff has zero knowledge about their products and not even supportive.After 7 months of my account opening when I called cibc that I did not get my offer money staff simply said you did not full fill the condition so you will not get any reward when I said I don’t like your service staff simply said ok come to branch and close your account.I am highly dissatisfied with Cibc so will never recommend anyone to open account with them.The behaviour of staff was totally different when I opened the account as compared to now.Please think twice while opening an account with Cibc.Service is very pathetic

I had to stop here to reset my PIN while on a road trip. I was in and out in three minutes. Open on Saturday, too!
