The Fred Victor Community garden is run by the Fred Victor Mission, a non-profit that helps people find purpose and place. The garden is run by volunteers and they grow vegetables and plants. - A Richard Trus review

Not as bad of a place as some people would have you believe I walk around there at all times both day and night and as for drug addicts, if not for them then drug councillors wouldn’t have any work....

Probably best if you avoid this park, especially at night.

The gardeners work hard and mostly try but are frustrated by the people who break in and maraud and just destroy. I have have entire plants ripped out by the roots smashed and barley ripe tomatoes bitten into and thrown on the ground. At the moment there is some guy trying to live there; hiding in one of the overgrown plots. He is insisting that he owns that place it is his. It's not.People are finding poop and when I brought my greens home with brown places I could smell urine. The locks on the water and the gate (which is badly rotted and broken) have been stolen.Just one star.I think that the parks people who already have too much on their plates have sincerely tried to help but what can they do? There is no funding and not enough people to stand guard. Anybody know a goodRent-a-Rottweiler service?
