Love this store, don't know what I would do without it. I am sure a lot of potters in the area rely solely on this store for clay alone. They just have a great selection of stuff, and are so helpful with any questions I have regarding ceramics. I bought my very first wheel here and they were so helpful with all my Kiln and firing questions. I just love it here. I do wish they had later hours on weekdays so I could go after work, but I understand it is a local buisness and a small one. I do appreciate it though, I'm dying here just waiting for them to open because they're closed for the holidays haha. I recommend anyone that wants to try ceramics or look around at different clays to go here, I recommend it to everyone. I've spent so much money there already but its worth every cent.

My wife had called and had CC put aside two glazes. As I work closer to the store, and getting the glazes was time sensitive, I offered to leave work early. Due to traffic I felt my arrival would be close to 5 pm, their advertised closing time. Nobody answer when I phoned at 4:45 pm but I still left a message stating my phone number and that I would be there by 5 pm. On arrival at 4:55 pm, verified by my i phone and wrist watch the place was dark and the door locked. I knocked on the door a few times and no one answered. Left another message upon leaving. All day the next day no one phoned me to help me understand what may have gone wrong and was told the owner stated he was there at 5 pm. Not possible. Very disappointed with the service.

The staff at this store is amazing. They are incredibly knowledgeable and patient, and willing to answer my many, many questions to help me learn about pottery, glazing, and firing. No matter how stupid my questions are, they never make me feel stupid. They are an excellent resource! I would not be able to manage without them.

2nd Review. Edit to my own review, they really treated me well this second visit. They were so nice I feel like buying stuff from them that I don't even need. I'd suggest go there. They are great.1st Review. It's got stuff for making pottery. I was happy to find stuff for our kiln. Small mom and pop operation. A good option, and there are not many options I don't think.

I’ve been here a multiple times, and each time has been fantastic! They are knowledgeable and very helpful. I’m new to the world of ceramics and I felt like they answered my questions without judgement.The clay selection - oh my! I love each of their recommendations!

Best customer service ever. Mike, Sara, Ashley, and Jacquie are ready to help with ceramic conundrums, brainstorm solutions for problems, offer carry-out every single time, and they are a joy. They offer a large variety of clays, the entire Mayco line of glazes 06 & 6, tools, kiln supplies, larger tools, and if they don't have it, they'll order it. I've never had a disappointing experience in the 6+ years as a customer. I've also never had a friend come back disappointed after being referred. Thanks Ceramics Canada!
