I would like to give this bank five stars, but the wait time in the line up can be very long. But definitely five stars to Nevil, the finance advisor that works here! I came in feeling very stressed out about my finances, and he helped guide me on a better direction on how to handle a recent dilemma I had been through. He explained everything very well, was very kind and friendly, and helped me greatly. I'm very thankful I got to meet with him and I'd like to see him again if I need to do any further changes to my account. Thank you Nevil!

The only wheelchair accessible entrance with a power assistance door was locked, I later learned this was due to a mechanical issue with the door lock itself, but really should have a sign posted about the issue.Otherwise the staff were excellent, they were very helpful and took care of my need on the spot.

Went in to get a DD made. Provided the beneficiary name in written. They got it wrong, which I noticed that as soon as I left the bank. So I went back in, stood in the queue again for my turn and informed them about the mistake. The lady on the counter was apologetic and re-did the DD - WRONG AGAIN this time. However, this time I only noticed when I came home. So I had to go there again, stand in the queue for 25 mins and cancel the DD. The incompetency of that lady is appalling.

The caucasian female teller here today was teribbly untrained. giving incorrect information, causing inefficiencies, runarounds, and ultimately making it so that a 5 minute issue takes 45 mins.

I was told i would get a release letter showing my loan was paid out in the mail. I did not. They were too lazy to request it on my behalf then I called and requested it and nothing came I called again and they said they would not mail AND email me a copy and they somehow spelt my name wrong so 7 weeks later I'm still waiting for a letter saying I paid them a bunch of money. Don't bank with these people.

We had a really bad experience with an account manager called Pooja. Our joint account was refused, because my wife was not mentioned in the rental lease. So far so good. Makes sense. When I lost my card I was asked with whom I have a joint account (as a security question) and said truly No one". Then the process of getting a new card was stopped since my answer was wrong according to the telephone officer. This is the way I found out we had a joint account (althought this was denied and we only have one debit card). Very funny! What is the use of a joint account

not gonna open an account here because of Nevil. My sister will also be cancelling her account.went in for a scene + credit card as my friend has been raving about it, and even though i’m with CIBC i was ready to transfer everything over. Will not be transferring any time soon. Got approved at CIBC within minutes.
