Premier Basement Systems

Premier did a radon elimination system for a residence we use as a children's group home. The crew was courteous, efficient and though they had to remove concrete to install a pump, left zero mess. They also did not damage any of the in-floor/hydronic heating pipes, since they worked carefully. The radon level is around 2. We are having them install a similar system in another residence currently. Very professional, very courteous and personable. Cannot imagine this crew treating anyone less than very well.

We hired Premier Basement Systems to install a radon mitigation system in early February 2021. Initially, it seemed to help and our test came back at 2.6 pci/L. However, we continued to monitor and the levels rose again. Naturally, we called them back with concerns, which they dismissed. They told us that we would 'get more radiation from a cell phone. They did not come back out to look at it and our levels stayed between 4 and 5 pci/L. We ended up calling Radon Solutions Northwest and they immediately identified a number of serious problems with the install. The hole was not dug deep enough and there was insufficient air flow

We had been dealing with standing water, sometimes 2 feet, in our crawlspace for a couple of years. The water would come and go with the rainy seasons. I had made a feeble attempt at putting in 2 sump pumps and they could not keep up with the deluge after a heavy rain.We found Premier Basement Systems online and loved their informational website. Through their website we learned that Premier Basement Systems deals with these same issues on a daily basis.I contacted Premier Basement Systems and they sent Steve out to provide us with an estimate. Steve presented our options and did not pressure us into anything.The crew was scheduled to begin work in just 10 days. Gerrett and his crew arrived as scheduled and began work. The second day they were here, we had a heavy rain and they got to see first hand the amount of water that we had been dealing with. They suggested adding a second sump pump to assist in keeping up with the amount of water entering the crawl space.About 6 weeks after install, I sent Premier Basement Systems a video during another heavy rain to show that we were still getting water under the liner and the discharge pipe was having a hard time allowing the volume of water being pumped to exit the house properly. Monte called me early the next morning and said he was sending the crew to address the issues. The crew arrived and had to re-plumb the sump pumps and add another discharge pipe to the back corner of my yard.Prior to encapsulation, my crawl space was a muddy damp mess that was contributing to mold growth. Now it is clean and dry and we are breathing easier. Premier Basement Systems is a great organization from top to bottom and we would recommend them to anyone having moisture issues in their crawl space. Professional to the max. Called when water in basement became visible. First representative laid out options contingent on removal of damaged basement panel. We had this done by our handy guy and determined that the ground water problem was not confined to one area. Called Premier back and got a bid from a very knowledgeable rep. French drain, vapor barrier and triple sump pump system scheduled. Work done on time. Clean, excellent workmanship. In our case, dedicated electrical outlets had to be installed by an Electrician when Premier had finished. Time will tell, but the early stage experience was A+.

Had a basement water intrusion, in the Coeur d'Alene area. I called this company they were very fast, professional and gave me good advice on what to do. They were honest because he could have sold me a bunch of stuff but instead he explained how I could resolve the problem inexpensively.

They were with me from the start. Even though I had a neighbor that was very, very impossible to please. They were patience with her and they did get my 2 egress windows in. They did a great job and did what they said they would do on the estimate. They were fast, neat and such a great company to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who wanted to work with them. They stand by the customer and making sure they are please with the finish project. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

We had a terrible experience with PBS. The promise of a lifetime guarantee of no more water in the basement after installing their perimeter drain system was well...empty. The system was installed to the tune of well over $10k...and water continued to flow! Turns out the guarantee" was just as slippery as the water through the cracks. We heard excuse after excuse and zero accountability. Weeks later hired a different company to fix their mistakes and it was done with professionalism and integrity. If I could post negative stars they earned it with us."

Premier Basement Systems encapsulated a crawl space at a home that I manage. The house had always had a funky odor, but when the work was completed the odor was completely gone. When Monte went into the crawl space, he found several inches of standing water. He gave me a couple of options of dealing with the situation. He explained the pros and cons as well as the short term and long term costs of each choice. He did not pressure me either way or try to talk me into something I did not need.Heather, the office manager, dealt with the scheduling and the billing. Everything was done very professionally.The job was done in two days. The crawl space entrance is in the middle of the house and they were very careful not to tract any dirt of other debris on my carpet. Since the job has been finished I have had a couple of questions. Monte has returned my calls promptly and answered all my questions.The dampness and the odor have never come back. I am so happy with the results. I feel that the final cost was very fair. We had over 8 inches of water in our crawlspace. When I called, I was quickly put on the schedule. They arrived on time, and even respected my wishes for a phone call when they were on their way. They were incredibly professional and courteous the entire time they were here and they finished on time. The installation was done very well -- not only did they install our sump pump, but they ditched the entire crawlspace and put drainage rock in the ditches to prevent them from caving in. When they were digging the yard up for the piping, they put the dirt in garbage cans to prevent a mess in our yard which we were very appreciative of! You can barely tell they dug up the yard! They put floor protectors on our wood floor so not to ruin them, too. Everything looks great and is working well. We would definitely use them again in the future and I recommend them to anyone needing basement or crawlspace work.
