Bun Bo Hue Deli
Quality family food that will likely last you a few days. Just understand they don’t do small orders, it’s a whole pot of food, you’re feeding a big family or you’re eating it all week. Know that first and be happy. Been going every other month for about 4 years

Dining in was an interesting experience. You have to order at the counter then take a seat inside the empty dining area. We were the only ones in there the whole time, everyone else brought their own pot. Nice to have some relative peace and quiet. A large BBH special actually costs $12, as opposed to the $9 written on what I can only assume is a very old menu poster. We asked for spring rolls (the one appetizer on the menu) but they didn't have any. Taste wise, it was incredible. Excellent broth, plenty of meat and a solid portion size. Definitely recommend it based on how hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked the ingredients were. $12 is still an amazing value compared to what a BBH costs at other pho places. They also provide a sauce cup of their delicious chili to set your own level of spice. Cash only and don't expect amazing service.

Having tried their offering at a few get togethers, we decided to bring their soup to a large family meal. It's pretty straight forward, bring your own pot, and they fill it up based in the number of people you want to feed. Price starts at $20 for 4 servings, and goes up in $5 increments. If you forget your own pot, they offer plastic tubs you use with a $3 deposit. It comes with soup, meat, noodles, bean sprouts, and some onions/limes for garnish.Very good value, not for everyone since they only offer one menu item, but we enjoy it.

I recently visited Bun Bo Hue Deli and had the pleasure of trying their bun bo hue noodle dish. Their pot to go is a big hit..Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The noodles were perfectly cooked and had a great texture. What really impressed me about Bun Bo Hue Deli was the quality of the ingredients they used in the dish. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the herbs and vegetables were fresh and crisp. Everything came together perfectly to create a truly amazing dish. The service at Bun Bo Hue Deli was also excellent. The staff were friendly and the boss always greets me in Vietnamese, and the food was prepared quickly .Overall, I highly recommend Bun Bo Hue Deli to anyone looking for the best bun bo hue noodle dish in Calgary. The quality of the food and the service is top-notch, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

It's the best Pho soup we ever had. It's a BYOP (Bring Your Own Pot) so you're able to buy and take home, but its well worth it. You also have the option to buy and eat there, but we've haven't tried, yet. If you want to bring home in your own pot, there is a $30 minimum order, and cash only.

Excellent Vietnamese Hue noodle soup. The rice noodles are a different shape. Much better than the traditional pho.

You bring a large pot so they fill with soup. They have buckets you can borrow for a small deposit or purchase one from them. They provide the noodles, thai basil, bean sprouts, chili oil, peppers and Lemons. Cash or e transfer only.

CASH ONLY! This hole in the wall is a hidden gem. Best value to feed a group. Bring your own pot or pay extra $3 for a bucket. $40 feeds 5-6 people and includes broth, meat, noodles and all the fixings. Soup comes hot and should be cooled down and stored at in fridge at home then needs to be reboiled at home prior to serving.

This is the place you take your own pot. First off it's off 17th Ave and behind the street facing plaza. You have to go inside the plaza to order. When you bring your order, they fill it up with soup and meat balls. Then they give you noodles, sprouts, onions, basil leaves and hot sauces. I ordered for 4 people was charged $20 and I could easily feed twice as many people. The most important part it's delicious. The soup is comparable to the best. What makes this the winner is the ability to bring your own pot and the price. Absolutely the pick for bun ho hue in Calgary.
