Valleyview Provincial Park
Very nice park with nice views on top of Granville mountain. Cleanest bathrooms I've seen in a while and large spacious sites

Wow what a surprise find. We are from the states and stayed here one night before heading to the Digby ferry terminal. They have generously sized bunches of firewood. The RV site was a good length and level. The facilities were amazing--showers, restrooms, etc. The campground is wooded but there is an overlook over the valley that is breathtaking. We enjoyed biking around, too. Thank you for this lovely respite.

Spent 3 days in this exceptionally maintained provincial park. Close to so e very charming small towns the park is on Mount Hampton and overlooks a large portion of the Annapolis valley. The sites are nicely spaced apart, there is firewood and ice for sale at the office and best of all we found there to be almost NO MOSQUITOES. The restrooms are amazing. Private stalls, and hot showers. The comfort station has an industrial double stainless sink for dishwashers and the water is hot on the taps. If you are coming to the Annapolis Valley and are tenting or in an rv, I highly recommend you make a stop at Valleyview.

Valleyview Provincial Park
Camped here for three nights in September. Stayed in Site 27, at the very top of the park. Driving up to the park is quite steep & once you are in the park, it keeps going up the mountain. If you are staying at the top there isn't much room to make the top loop. We have a 24' trailer & wouldn't want to try to swing anything much larger than that around this loop.

We had a great experience at the park. There are two lookoffs, the best one is across from one of the sites. The wood was dry and easy to burn, yahooo!!!For you Geocachers there are 9 caches at the park, we found 8 of them. While there take a run to Hampton Beach, the teenagers had a grand time collecting rocks. The washrooms have been redone and are very nice.We will be back to this camp getting.Oh yes, having a powdered sore was nice too!

Beautiful campground with amazing views. There are currently no showers so something to keep in mind for a long trip. The park is very clean and the campsites offer pretty good privacy. Worth a visit!

I stayed at this provincial park for 1 night. Nice campsite and the washrooms were clean. I would recommend it but beware it’s a fairly steep drive to the park & then up a steep dirt road to the sites.

This is hands down the best location we have ever camped at. The view is amazing, they have fire pits that allowed us to make a fire and keep it going, even when the wind was 50km+ gusts (note not all sites have the same fire pit), and the bathrooms were the standard all provincial campgrounds should follow. They were clean and warm. There are 4 with just toilets, 2 with showers and toilets, and 2 just showers. The campground itself was quiet and I saw the NS parks person several times while were there. Lastly, apparently the wood there is a better quality as well- my husband said it split easily with the axe and was proper firewood.
