Do not hire.I'm a 20 year home renovator and landlord. I used Sherwood for a small 500sq ft job and the work is beyond horrible. Work is done by Ian Sherwood and his son. I have spent more time tying to fix what they did than they spent doing the work.Boarding work was pathetic: unlevel joins, boards not sufficiently attached and moving shortly after completion, ends not attached to anything.Taping job is sloppy & rushed using way too much mud. Can see every join.Sanding job was not only pathetic but Ian Sherwood completely forgot to sand large areas of the space.I could go on and on.Feel free to contact me for more details.

regarding the Jeff Reilander bad review on this page. I am sorry you are unhappy with us at Sherwood Drywall. We have many happy customers and try to keep everyone happy they hired us. We really struggled with very old, non updated framing from the 19 30's or near that time. The bouncy boards were from this problem. Not our fault. I offered to fix problems you had but you refused. I did all i could do to make you happy. sorry you had such a bad experience. Many many of my customers , over 30 years in nanaimo, are very happy with our work
