Whistling Prairie Flowers

I found out about Whistling Prairie Flowers last year when I was looking for Castle Drive dahlia tubers. I was able to get a few coveted varieties and they grew very well in my garden. I later discovered that Dawn offered so many more goodies: ranunculus, anemones, tulips, peonies, flower seeds and more, in sought-after varieties and colours. Before I found out about WPF, I would buy hard-to-find varieties outside of Canada for a lot of $$, so you can imagine how happy I was to find a Canadian farmer with a perfectly curated shop. I was most impressed with WPF's website, which is why I'm writing this review. Buying flower seeds/corms/bulbs is now more hectic than buying concert tickets these days...faulty sites, wishlist function failing, things selling out before they were even shown to be in stock, but WPF operated seamlessly. I cannot imagine the amount of effort, time and planning to successfully run a farm and three WPF sales a year (while regularly engaging with their followers), but they do it so well and with so much heart!
