I can't say enough about Ben and Hailey - what a fabulous duo! They helped me design and build my house start to finish. Dedication, hard work, professionalism and attention to detail were prevalent in everything they did. I have referred them without hesitation and will continue to do so. Need to find something so we can start another project together :)

My husband and I have consulted with Hailey at HB Architectural Design for several interior and exterior projects on our century home in Stouffville. She is a brilliant architect who came up with wonderful, well thought out architecturally appropriate design options for updating and enhancing our home. Hailey was incredibly diligent in her research, ensured we had accurate visuals of our options, listened to us and worked with us to ensure we were confident with the plan prior to proceeding. We had accurate cost estimates which were reasonable. Communication was always timely. She looked after every detail in a timely fashion. and took the stress out of doing the renovation. She has a wealth of knowledge and great working relationships with may local trades and and suppliers to ensure fair pricing and excellent workmanship. Ben did the build out of our porches and everything was done efficiently, with care and to perfection. We continue to get so many compliments about the work that Hailey and Ben have done on our home. Follow-up was excellent. If we ever decided to move and build Hailey would be my fist and only choice as an architect - she is lovely to work with, extremely talented, inclusive, resourceful and ensures all work is done to her satisfaction ... an exceptionally high standard! . In our minds she is truly a superstar!

We have been working with Hailey for the past year, through the pandemic and she has worked tirelessly with the Town of Wasaga to get our permits approved, and engineering for our grading concerns and intricate house design. We recently had Hailey from H Bee Architectural Design provide us with drawings for our upcoming Cottage Renovation. We received them in a timely matter and were thrilled with the outcome. We met with Hailey to go over the plans and she offered several suggestions which we ended up incorporating into the project. We have also had the pleasure to work with Ben on several projects and have always been happy with his workmanship and professionalism. My husband and I contracted H. Bee Architecture to design a large addition to our century home in Uxbridge. We worked with Hailey from initial conceptualization and she listened carefully to our ideas and worked with us to create a balance of ”Old Meets New”. The project involved a great deal of complex engineering and design, as well as requiring a minor variance. H. Bee was actively involved for the entire process, including Hailey and another member of the team attending the review meeting with the town. We asked Hailey to provide us with drawings for our cottage addition/reno. She was incredibly responsive and travelled quite a distance several times to ensure we were happy with the drawings and to ensure measurements were accurate. Following those meetings, she quickly responded to each and every change we requested. Hailey gave us the personalized service she promised from the start and we are very grateful for our experience. We had Hailey do up drawings for a Portico for the front of our house, she was so quick at returning all calls and had the drawings done and sent to us in no time! She knew exactly what we were looking for by just a brief description. We had Roger McMann of McMann Construction do the work and it all turned out amazing!! We have had so many compliments by friends and neighbours. Hailey , owner at HBee Architecture ,is not only talented and diligent but she is fun to work with! She has designed and her husband ,”build by Ben” have worked with us on many projects. They listen to the client, they are both honest and hard working and they are both communicators! They first built us a beautiful lakeside Pergola and then an addition on our cottage followed by a spectacular Conservatory off our kitchen at home. H. Bee brought our cottage dreams to life! We purchased a lot in Haliburton and started working with Hailey in mid Sept of 2019. With a sketched out vision of what we thought we wanted. From there Hailey managed to capture our vision for a new a family cottage. She organized and cataloged all the random pictures, posts and magazine articles we sent and looked at several different cottages exhibiting features we liked. Over several meetings we were able to collaborate over sketches and markups until we came up with a plan we were all happy with. She encouraged us to think outside the box and consider some features that were beyond what we were considering. We did not go with all the recommendations but we certainly accepted and embraced several of them. Hailey and her team pushed hard throughout the approval process and as a result we had a building permit in place for January!! Hailey and her team also coordinate all the other aspects of the design from the Structural Engineer, HVAC, Truss Manufacture etc. She also embraced feedback from from some of our suppliers like Schell Lumber on various changes and efficiencies that could be made to improve our design. During the build there was adjustments and changes to be made along the way and Hailey was always just a text or a phone call away. Overall working with H.BEE was an amazing experience and we have recommend her to friends and family. H.Bee should be very proud that one of the magazines we looked at for ideas now features their work on the front cover!
