Kingsport Beach
Arrived just under an hours after high tide and there was already plenty of beach to walk. A mix of coarse red sand and mud, it can be a challenging walk with poor fitness, balance or footwear— bring a bag to carry your sandals!Lots of quartz stones and shells to collect, and the cliff sides and hollows are fun to admire. You can walk up to Medford beach from here. The gravel parking lot fits~15 vehicles, and there’s a fantastic canteen (ice creams, hot/cold drinks, and hot food) with picnic tables on the grass overlooking the beach. Cash and cards.

Kingsport Beach
A relaxing place to park and watch the tides rise or fall on the New Minas basin. A beautiful view across the water, with rolling hills and farmland and vineyards.

Get a understanding of the tides before going if you have never visited any bay of fundy spots! It's a unique experience!

Kingsport Beach
Great spot with parking and a canteen. There are picnic tables and some benches. With the world's largest tides, the beach goes out really far out on low tide. We visited when tide was coming in and walked back to the start of the beach as the tide comes in. Magnificent and gorgeous views with rich red sand with the cliffs of Blomidon as a backdrop. Beautiful.

Beautiful warm beach! (Check for Tide Times.) Loved walking on the (low tide) mud flats, exploring the sea caves. You can see Blomidon in the distance and Parsboro across the water...

Great beach to watch the sunrise. There is no one so you have the beautiful beach to yourself! Enjoy the view and relax....

Kingsport Beach
Beautiful beach, warm, calm water, compared to the Atlantic. Fun to watch the tides come and go. Great for swimming at high tide and exploring the coast and beach combing at low tide

I am from the Annapolis Valley and never stopped at Kingsport Beach. Our plan was to kayak from there as the tide was coming in order to get to the Medford Beach Rocks at high tide so we could kayak through them. Perfect spot to start: there are clean outhouses and a boat launch (it is harder to hike that long beach when the tide is out). I am so at peace in the shadow of Glooscap. I love this basin from all its views. I plan to spend more time there now for hiking, walking or kayaking. Look for the 3 cars coming out of the cliff!
