I found Dean from Blue Shield very responsive, friendly and efficient in his emails. I requested an installation and within a matter of two days, the service requested was completed and completed well. The technician, Brent, was also extremely friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Very pleased so far!

Dean is amazing. Unlike other companies Dean worked with me to find a system and plan that was within my budget, and easy to use. Can't recommend Blue Shield highly enough.

I had the Honeywell Lynx touch screen system (motion detector, fire detection, door contacts) and total connect exterior camera installed by Blue Shield Security (Monitored by Counterforce). I found Dean Hickey (Owner) to be a friendly, knowledgable man. The two separate times I had them (Blue Shield) at my place to do installations I had the same tech and he was also friendly, knowledgable, and done a neat job. The installations were done in timely fashion and when I wanted an exterior camera added to the system I just emailed Dean, on a Saturday, and it was installed that Monday! The system works well and I'm satisfied with it. I'm not sure how the system and monthly fees compare to their competitors, it is somewhat expensive, but I'm happy with the service. This is the first home security system I've owned so I can't compare to other companies. I recommend Blue Shield.

Had security system installed 3 days ago.Brent the technician very friendly, and knowledgeable . He gave a good demonstration on how to use the system. Answered all questions we asked. The tech who installed was on time and friendly, and the owner is always prompt with emails and readily has information available. Also has lots of different options depending on your home security needs at a reasonable price.

I've been using the service for about 6 months now and haven't had any issues with the system. The installation was quick and the service and information regarding the installation was excellent.

BEWARE OF BAIT & SWITCH.I met Shannon, a sales rep, at the 2013 Home Show in St. John's. After explaining my needs he advised me that he could offer me a new installation for free with a 3 year monitoring contract. I currently have an ADT system and he said he could match the monthly fee that I was currently paying with ADT. It took me about 2 weeks to actually get in contact with him again to have him come to my home. When he did, he told me that he didn't know if he would be able to provide the free installation as promised, because my existing system was too old (but if I had no system he could?). Also, he said that he wasn't sure about the monitoring fee quoted either. I told him I wasn't prepared to pay any more than what he offered at the home show, so for both issues, he said he would need to speak to his manager, He told me either he or his manager would be in touch with me. I waited two weeks and hadn't heard back, so I called on two separate occasions and left messages. He finally returned my call, but was surprised" that his manager hadn't called me back yet. He said he would speak to him that day and one of them would call me. Well
