not the worst school board in the world but they don't allow much customization on the computers. you can't change to 24 hour time, you can't change to dark mode. on the chrome books, you can't enable google play, you can't install much chrome extensions (this goes for both windows and chrome os), you can't use spotify as it's blocked on the wifi.

It hardly seems fair to blame a school board for closing buildings during a pandemic. They had difficult decisions to make. If wiFi doesn't work for you, tether your device to someone's cellphone to watch YouTube. Not uncommon for a professional setting.

This board would rather protect its bullies instead of the victims. I’ve experienced this more than once. They don’t care how much proof you have, all they want to do is sweep everything under the carpet. WORST school board.

WORST board of education ever. They don't care about our students. We have never shut down so much in 2 school years. Some students struggle online and need in class. DO something to get our kids back! Our specific school had zero cases and still can't open???

It's not a terrible school board. The teachers are usually pretty good, and the work is balanced. However, the work method is usually set in stone, not allowing kids who learn differently to work the way that they're most comfortable with. They also spend a lot of money on unneeded things, such as playground equipment. Finally, the censorship in the school board is horrendous. Many appropriate videos on YouTube are blocked, all because of a flawed censorship algorithm. In other words, it's a school board on par with many others. It's alright, but flawed in many ways.

Tried to find info on whether School is canceled or not on there site and it's difficult to find, some areas say click here to find out, you click and it just bring you to the main page. Had to find info on a radio website. All bus close, school remain open.. that's all I need to know and do a better job about posting it, frustrating

Mask mandates being lifted provincially and this board still thinks it can override it. Parents, stand up for your kids and take the masks off!! Very disappointed in this board. First making kindergarten mask when it wasn't provincially mandated and now this. It is not longer a mandate. Kids can enjoy some of their childhood again.
