Everything about this Hotel is worth while. From the people, to the city itself, everything is worth while.They have a fantastic in-house gym and an in-house water slide. With their full continental breakfast I found it hard to leave.Please if you are in Castlegar stay here for a wonderful time!

We arrived a bit late for check-in and when we were moving our stuff into the room we managed to drop and break a glass container-glass over the carpet. We called and they quickly sent a vacuum up to cleaned up the mess. The vaccine gentleman was kind and helpful.Later we were looking to get some laundry done and unfortunately someone had left the machine filled with their laundry. I didn’t want to touch someone else’s things and mentioned to Lise at the desk looking to see if they could help. Lise went above the call of duty and helped us out, she not only got our Laundry done but provided it back folded neatly in a bag for us. Lise made our stay there feel like home-away-from-home. She is a real asset to the team there! We would definitely recommend this hotel.I must also be perfectly honest about the facilities: when we arrived they had just drained the hot tub to change the filter, and were refilling it, and warned us that it may be a cold until it had time to warm up. We did try to go and attempt to use the pool about 4hrs later, the water was freezing cold, and the air in the pool room was also really cold - same next day…so timing for us with the pool wasn’t so good: because of this I give the pool a 2-star, but the staff, hotel, and breakfast are 5-star! The room was almost a 5-star, with the exception of the mounts for the bath-curtain rod being 1/2 broken and sagging down a bit. I didn’t make the staff aware of this issue, However it is a maintenance item that I would expect is somewhat a common problem. The sag was only about 1-1/2” in the middle, so it still functioned.

It's clean. The rooms are nice. There's a small breakfast nook in the morning with good options. The pool and waterside are a big plus. Restaurant attached to the hotel. Adult beverages store nearby and is shared a parking lot with safeway. Pretty much have all your bars covered here!

HARRY POTTER THEMED ROOM!!!Omg. We loved this hotel. We checked in and went to head to the elevator and saw harry potter stuff down a couple stairs. Went to look and saw they had themed suites! They were happy to show us the Harry Potter room and spiderman room but we ultimately picked harry potter (spider man was extremely cool too though). There were 6 bunk beds all done with Harry potter bedding, murals on all the walls of hogwarts, the hogwarts express and the flying car. We had the best time in the room! The waterslide was incredible. We had so much fun, can't wait to stay again in a different themed room next time.

Rooms were decent i guess the pool and hot tub were a joke. They have a huge slide with no running water there was no chlorine in the hot tub and it smelled so bad we immediately left and had to go shower. It looks like a nice place from the outside but it was dirty and run down once you make your way in. The breakfast was a joke and for how much your paying a night just do youself a favor and go stay at the sandman

The room was interesting, 3 minibars fridges but only 1 worked. There was black hair on the wall of the bathroom, I had to clean it. 2nd day the room was not made up, when I asked they said that they were short staffed. (If they had said something about it in the beginning I would have known not to expect it)The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Upon arriving the lobby was full of boxes and could have used a carpet sweeper. Girl at the front desk was very polite. I would stay there again but now I know what to expect.

Rooms were clean, everything needed a bit of an update, but things worked. A little disappointed at the lack of options for the included breakfast. With certain food allergies, you'd be out of luck. Everything else was adequate for the price.

I was immediately greeted at the desk. We were given a big room with two king size beds and a kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were very, very clean. They also had a full-on breakfast included. Very friendly staff everywhere. Lots of parking and easy access to the highway.

The best hotel in town! Had so much fun in the Pool and the hot tub. Black Rooster restaurant and liquor store next door. All at one place! The rooms were pretty clean and the staff were so helpful with everything. Thank you!

Nice hotel, the room was clean and quiet. The BK was not bad (better than nothing not the standard of most Wyndham chains), would be nice if they had a GF option for those Celiac clients, mentioned it to the front staff they just rolled their eyes. They had no idea what Electric Vehicle plug in was, they had to go ask their manager (they do not have one). If you are looking for a one night drive thru hotel this works. If you need GF the Safeway next door has them.
