Beautiful and informative museum for such a good price. It’s the perfect size and the info provided isn’t long and arduous. There is also an elevator as the museum is three floors, which helped my mom who has arthritis. Truly fascinating place. It was also very clean and each floor had its own bathroom.

We happened upon this chapel while walking around Old Quebec, and was glad we had.The collection of pre-french revolution paintings hung in the chapel for the public are worth the stop as is a glimpse into the Sisters Choir chapel. This side chapel has no access to the public but appears to have beautiful stained glass windows, gilded carved wood and spectacular dome.A quiet, bight and holy space, away from the hordes or tourists.

This was one of my favorite places while visiting Quebec. As a needle worker it was wonderful seeing the history and work produced by the girls who went to the boarding school. The entire museum was filled with quality displays. I highly recommend that you visit while in Quebec.

The way that the nunnery and the school's history is interwoven with the city is just amazing. If you can, please take the guided tour.

This is one of the best museums I've ever been to. Not only were the exhibits interesting, they were also the perfect size and had just the right amount of information. Learning about this order of nuns, how they went through the process of becoming a nun, and the boarding students they taught was fascinating. The museum is impeccably clean, including the bathrooms. Most museums feel worn, but not this one; it feels brand new.

Stopped by the chapel just in time to see rehearsal for that evening's event. Lovely music. The museum was really interesting. To learn about the women that attended the school and the nuns that worked there. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable.

Wonderful place to learn history of Quebec from a unique perspective. We had a spontaneous ‘tour’ from the attendant/docent. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, the docent’s stories made the visit, the best part of our wander around old Quebec!

The museum was very interesting, and it's so fascinating what the French accomplished here. I was just confused, because I was charged $12 for entry, despite reading online that it's free, because it's maintained by the Church. And there was also a sign on the road around the corner indicating that it's free, so I'm not sure what exactly is free here, but it's not the museum. I didn't mind paying, as the place as very interesting, but there seems to be a lot of conflicting information regarding entry fees for the museum.

Very nice, small museum focusing on the role of the Ursulines in educating young woman in the early days of Quebec City and beyond. Interesting view into the lives of these young women who attended the monastery, some as boarders and some looking to join the order.Be sure to visit the lovely chapel across the street. The original monastery building appears to be there (also it burned a couple of times). Continue down to the school (ecole) to see. We walked into the courtyard as well.
