Motel la Paysanne

The room was small but clean. When paying with debit, they add an extra $100 deposit for damage. They pay it back in cash the next day. I would have preferred if it would have been credited back in my account. Breakfast is included but it's more of a continental breakfast. I will be looking at another place.

Stayed there for a long weekend. The room had a weird smell, but otherwise clean. However after we left (having cleaned up our room) we were told we would be charged the $100 deposit for an iron mark on one of the bedsheets. We had not left the iron on the beds and questioned this. We were sent an up-close out-of-context photo of an outline of an iron on a bed cover. There were no burn marks or anything that didn't look like it wouldn't be easily fixed with regular laundering. My friend called back and said we never saw this at all and was told they were going to charge us $200 for it....which was completely ridiculous for a cheap polyester bed cover. We tried calling back again and the woman refused to resolve the issue and hung up. Very sketchy thing to do and with terrible service. Would not recommend it. Try any of the other motels in Lennoxville or if it's the summer stay at the school, cleaner and better service.

My stay was okay the shower was very tiny. It was designed for a person who would weigh less than 170 lb. After I checked out I received a phone call and a voicemail from the owner telling me a towel was missing from the room and if I did not return it she would charge my credit card $20. I returned to the motel I said look at my bag she refused to and treat me like I was a a bad guy. She said next time they would inspect my room before I rented it and before I was allowed to leave.I will never stay at this establishment again.

Incredibly clean, friendly and easy service, last minute reservation with absolutely no problems. Comfortable king bed and clean bath in the room. Would visit again!

It’s very difficult to sleep in this place coz of the trains, a train station nearby somewhere, train honks wake you up from sleep even at night, couldn’t have continuous sleep for more than two hours. Add into that, it is Such a struggle to find something to watch on the TV, they have no subscription to anything except news. Could be a lot better for the price.

Older motel but very well taken care of and clean. Smaller room, bed was very comfortable, pillows quite thick and firm. Shower was small but worked very well, lots of hot water and clean. Dining room was closed likely due to Covid. Would definitely stay at the Paysanne again.

We stayed in a single queen bed suite, the bathroom was small, but well cleaned, and the room was clean when we arrived. The staff spoke both English and French, and the continental breakfast was a nice touch. Would stay again.

The room was clean with a lovely fresh comfy king size bed. I slept well.Supposedly dog friendly but with conditions! If there are conditions then it is NOT dog friendly. We wound up having to find an overnight dog sitter for our pets as we were not to leave them alone.....and could not guarantee that they would not bark. We were attending a wedding.It was ok but would not choose to stay again.
