I did a silent retreat, which was peaceful and helpful. Andrew and Kathseva were caring hosts, rooms were comfortable and the food healthy and tasty. The resident cat kept things light as she clearly did not believe in silence but loved the warmth of the fire.

I wasn’t sure what I was looking for but I found everything I needed here.I gave myself 6 days and 5 nights to really hash out some feelings I couldn’t deal with on my own. My personal retreat brought me back to my true nature and I found peace through meditation and the beautiful landscapes that surrounded the centre.Would I do it again? 100% yes! Kathsiva and Andrew were great hosts and amazing cooks too :) Thank you for everything.

I just spent 11 nights at this marvellous place. The beauty and layout of this centre amplified my inner senses and gave life to those places within and outside of myself I could never find at home or on a regular vacation setting. The hosts Kathseva and Andrew are remarkable. I can only describe them in words like remarkable, kind, gentle and loving. They are not at all imposing and will allow for what you need and want. This includes silence and inner reflection. The food is incredibly delicious. Meal after meal I was amazed at the quality, variation and flavours. Wonderfully and attentively prepared and served. Saying I would highly recommend this centre is an understatement. So the best I can say is it is a sure thing for peace and inner reflection. I will definitely go back if I am blessed.

I went this past weekend for their silent retreat and I'm definitely planning to go back sometime. Not only is the location so beautiful and serene, as well as a short hike from the ocean and the lake, but the experience was truly something else. The peace and clarity I experienced through the weekend was exactly what I needed and was looking for and although being somewhat well versed in meditation already I learned some amazing tools/techniques during my stay. Highly recommend!

The Silent Retreat for 3 days and 2 nights was the best choice to log off from the busy, hectic reality and have some quiet time for yourself.The center is located in a peaceful serene nature, close to the ocean, lake and great trails.Keth and Andrew, the hosts are top-notch hosts and are responsive to any need.The homemade, organic meal was really delicious and unforgettable.I was able to have a peaceful time. I recently experience the perfect little weekend silent meditation retreat at the Self Realization Sevalight Centre for Pure Meditation, Healing & Counselling on the Sunshine Coast. Let me start by saying that the hosts were absolutely amazing. They were the epitome of kindness, making sure each and every one of us felt welcomed and supported throughout the retreat. They created a truly magical space where we could ground ourselves, dive deep into meditation, and find inner peace, yet we had the control of making the retreat whatever each of us needed it to be.The property was beautiful, with the main house & detached guest room cabins surrounded by forests, with peaceful trails to explore. It allowed me to fully unwind and embrace the present moment. My room was a cozy little haven, with a kettle and an assortment of teas, it provided the perfect vibe for downtime and introspection. The healthy, delicious plant-based home cooked meals they served were an absolute delight. I left each meal feeling great more than satisfied.The hosts shared their wisdom and guided us through the weekend. It was a much-needed reset, a break from the busyness that allowed me to reconnect with myself. If you're craving a break from the hustle and bustle, a place to recenter and take space, then the Self Realization Sevalight Centre on the Sunshine Coast is definitely worth a visit; an approachable and supportive environment, especially if you’re just starting your meditation journey. I have attended 5 Silent Retreats at the Self Realization Center for over 15 years and recommend it all the time to friends. It's a little Sanctuary and my go-to to spend time with myself. It's beautifully set in the woods with it's own stream and pond and the mediation room is lovely. The whole center is so well kept and clean and the food is made with love. Went with a friend for a weekend retreat, and was fantastic: great location and facilities, very simple meals, and just the perfect spot to disconnect and reflect. Andrew and Kathseva were both excellent hosts and guides. Before going, was a bit hesitant about how religious" it would be

This is a magical place. The stillness is incredible. Andrew and Kathseva are wonderful facilitators. Their gentle kindness is exactly what I needed.The basement shower slightly smelled of sewage, but that was probably due to the atmospheric river that was happening and I’m sure will be gone soon.This was completely a non issue for me since it was so clearly so beneficial for me to be there. The food was lovingly prepared and delicious! Bella the cat was lovely. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. I will definitely be back!

It was my second time staying at the center and every time Kathseva and Andrew go above and beyond to make the stay so magical and so peaceful. The room had en-suit bathroom and everything was spotless clean. My husband and I enjoyed sitting by the cozy wood fire in the common room and delicious wholesome meals, and the landscape that surrounds the center is just absolutely beautiful. You can really unwind and feel grounded and at peace in this place. A true gem of the Sunshine Coast! Highly recommend!
