STAY AWAY from this company and its owner Mr. Vaagan. Fully SCAM!!!This is our story. We started our research in January 2022 because we have a specific place to place a sauna and wanted a model with a side door only and stove on a right side. In addition, a size that not more 108 sq to avoid a permit. After checking some companies called to Cedar life. We found what we were looking for and decided to place the order in May (it takes couple months to get it) to prepare a foundation (pad) for a sauna.We received a call from the company in March letting us know that there is the sauna our model in stock now and it`s last one because of the sanctions. We said that that we are still interested but a problem is that pad is not ready yet and soil is still frozen to do any landscaping preparation. I met the owner in the main office he showed me my sauna, wood stove and etc. He agreed to hold the sauna till late May beginning of June if I will give a deposit. I left deposit and DOUBLE CHECKED IF my sauna IS SAFE till that time. I was told my sauna is on HOLD now and will be installed once the pad will be ready.We finished the pad early end of April and scheduled the sauna installation on 28 May. (Saturday).A MYSTERY starts from here:Mr. Vaagan called me on Friday the day before the installation to ask if delivery can be done on Friday evening to speed up the process on Saturday. I confirmed “Yes”. In 20 minutes later he called me saying that my sauna was installed to another person by MISTAKE and that person did not say anything to installers (PROFESSIONAL INSTALLERS WHO SOMEHOW loaded and installed a completely different mode without noticing as welll!!!).Obviously, he informed that this model in out of stock but he can offer me bigger model (required a permit) or different model which is totally different for our specific plan (main door location and wood stove). Also, as an alternative way he can re-order our model, but it comes August only. We agreed on August. So, he supposed to give us a call on Monday to confirm that our model is in container that comes to Canada. No one even bothered to calle us on Monday, Tuesday.Wednesday morning, I called him with no reply, another call in the evening he picked the phone told me that no updates yet but let’s wait till Friday. Sure thing, no one called us on Friday so I called him around 8 pm - no reply. Gave him another call Saturday around 12 pm, no answer. Sent him a message to give us deposit back. AND he called me right away to say that I can get my deposit anytime. Asked him to e-transfer and as an “EXUSE US” provide us the sauna spoon or the sauna pile(as it was initially agreed). Mr. VAAGAN said that we did not buy anything from him and we are not eligible for that. BUT MR. VAAGAN ask yourself please WHY we did not buy THE SAUNA?????. He supposed to refund our deposit Friday evening. NOTHING. Sent him a message next day as a reminder only after that got my deposit.Story conclusion:SHAME on you MR. VAAGAN. As my thoughts you just sold our sauna to another person to make more money because price went UP in 6 months and you had no other saunas as such available in stock.EVEN if are still thinking to buy a sauna there MAKE SURE it`s a CEDAR. His sauna`s have not that specific cedar smell as must. He told me that I have to use once to get this cedar smell. We were advised by wood professional that he sells PINE instead of CEDER and is already renown for that. Therefore, I would not recommend this COMPANY and SERVICE to anyone. We got lot of stress, spent lots of time and money to build custom size sauna base with HUGE LIER and UNPROFESSIONAL ONWER.
