Body and Brain Wellness is a lovely studio with a caring and wonderful teacher. The practice is unique and wonderful. There are options for in studio and online classes. I get to leave feeling positive, relaxed and more flexible each time!

Body & Brain Wellness
BodynBrain is a mind-body practice that originated relatively recently from Korea based on the principles of Tao. It is not yoga nor is it martial arts. It is not a place where you come to get a ‘workout’ so if that’s your goal, don’t bother. The different movements and postures are to strengthen your ‘Chi’ ( or ‘Ki’- in Korean) and your energy meridians. I’ve practiced ia bit of Ashtanga, Hatha and kundalini yoga as well as a couple different martial arts including WingChun KungFu, Tai Chi and Karate (albeit mainly for the workout). Probably most in common with kundalini and QiGong. If you are interested in the intentional practice to strengthen your chi/ energy, this is the place for you.

Body and Brain meditation really helps the entire body to get balance and heals It is an excellent workout and stretching. healing the muscles and learn how focus on breathing, connecting the body and brain.

The instructors were sincere, masters in health and wellness and very welcoming. The Meridian Yoga is a perfect balance of energy work, breath work and meditation which increases overall vitality.The physical healing I have received (no longer have lower back pain, no longer have the signs of macular degeneration) the tools I have gained to manage my own health and overall improvement in more peace of mind and focus are priceless.I have attended on a regular basis for ten years and plan to continue on this incredible journey.

I have been taking and teaching Body and Brain classes for over the past 17 years. I thought that just teaching classes would be good enough for me. I started to take classes again and realized that it is totally different than just teaching .Now that I have started taking classes again, I feel my body so much more. I can go deeper inside and let a lot of my negative thoughts go. I also feel healthier and more flexible.This years resolution/goals are to improve my physical, mental and spiritual health.Jill W

The classes are making a positive difference in my overall health and wellness. The day-to-day grind means my mind can be everywhere but the present moment. The intentional practice of focusing on your breath work or the parts of the body being moved/stretched/strengthened makes you live in the moment for at least 60min that day. It's made me more aware of the level of physical strength and tightness across each body part and how with each class I get more fit and flexible. Importantly, I always leave more centred, relaxed but energized than when I arrived. Thank you, Geum, for supporting my health and wellness journey.

In today's hectic world, everyday I was feeling stressed and my body was constantly tense. I was looking for a Tai Chi class and I found much more than that. I am learning to take care of my body through stretching, healing vibration, intestine purification, breath-work, energy work and brain mediation.I've been attending classes for four weeks now and I have noticed a difference already. My body is less achy and stiff and I am feeling like I am gaining some flexibility back. Most importantly, my mind feels well-rested and relaxed, resulting in my brain being more alert.The instructor is knowledgeable, gracious, and compassionate which makes the classes very enjoyable. Happily attending physical movement guidance that is geared toward low to mid intensity stretching; movement techniques; exercising; and active mind relaxation. After 3 weeks thus far, I've found the program effective in increasing my flexibility; relaxation of tight muscles; a decrease in stress; and better intestinal health. Thank you to the instructors
