Fast and efficient repair dropped my home built PC here and was sorted within two days

My 10 yr old Mac died, and took with it many thousands of music tracks, and even more pictures, including precious pictures of my children from birth. And (my fault) I'd not backed anything up. I was distraught! I got in touch with Calder Computers, who were glad to take a look for me, and seemed confident I would get my data back. It took almost 3 weeks, but thanks to Ian's dedication in rescuing my data, I now have my computer back with all of my important information restored. I can't thank you enough for your determination in resurrecting my computer, and at a very reasonable cost too. Would definitely recommend!

Great, professional, smiling, knowledgeable service. Ian has got my laptop working again after others have tried and failed! Just enough technical explanation given so that I could understand the issue and have confidence in the solution.

I can really recommend Calder Computers. Ian listened carefully to my iMac problem, and worked patiently with me to isolate the cause. He then worked quickly to source a replacement component, which he fitted without delay. He can fix guitars too - top marks!

As someone who usually uses a Mac, fixing my sons gaming PC wasn't something I was confident doing. I asked Calder Computers with help in diagnosing the problems and helping with the repair. Ian replaced the keyboard on my laptop, no more sticky keys! He gracefully worked around my work commitments and fixed it within an hour so I could get back to business. Kept me updated with progress and parts throughout. Highly recommend.

Really glad we found Ian, as I work from home and my computer is out of warranty, so I was really stuck. He's a really nice guy, picked up and dropped my laptop off once fixed (really quick), great price and most importantly Ian got to the bottom of the issue with my laptop. My laptop bought new in lockdown, so not old, was extremely slow, unresponsive, to be honest getting ready to go in the bin. No it wasn't a bug or viruse. I found Ian at Calder Computers, Todmorden via Mytholmroyd group face book recommendations page, an excellent recommendation. Contacted Calder Computers, Ian really helpful and responsive to phone and messages, booked laptop in to identify what was wrong, within an hour of dropping it off Ian contacted me, advised the problem, what was needed to resolve it and the cost. Laptop is running better than ever wish I had found Ian sooner.I would have given Ian more than five stars if I could, highly recommend, not only is Ian efficient, professional and knowledgeable, a genuinely nice guy, price to fix very reasonable and certainly much better value than needing a new computer as per a previous reviewers review I can concur Ian is a hero.
