Travelodge by Wyndham Gananoque

Rooms were very clean and everything was good. We arrived very late at night (2 am) and there was someone to check us in and they were very polite and friendly.

Nice location, not too busy. Small but looked newly renovated. Free breakfast was a muffin with fruit and cereal bar and a juice box. Staff was friendly.

It was okay. Could’ve been a little more accommodating. Pool was nice, but lots of mosquitos. Make sure you ask the night before for a late checkout. As they may be too busy in the mornings

Older motel remodeled. Clean, although they didn't empty or clean the coffee maker as it still had coffee in it when we arrived. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave were included in the room. Nice tv with a decent channel selection. Served us well.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. The room was badly in need of a refresh: the textured walls and ceiling have the unmistakable stain of age, the ancient hairdryer didn't work, the shower curtain was in tatters, the carpet had been hoovered but badly needed a proper clean (or replacing), the microwave and aircon unit both looked about 25 years old - the whole vibe was shabby.Same goes for the pool - nice to have, but looks like it hasn't had any updates since the 90's.The beds were extremely firm, like sleeping on fabric over a freight pallet, so unless you like that, the place fails at the basic requirement of giving you a restful night. Some reviews like the beds, so YMMV.The prices are steep for an incredibly basic motel, so a higher standard should be possible and expected. Not luxury, but clearly they need to renovate.
