The Owl Of Minerva
Although the service was great and friendly, the food was not. As a chain restaurant with locations throughout Canada, we expected the food to be better. However, the food lacked flavor. The Jajangmyeon lacked any taste and there was barely any pieces of pork in it. The Ddukbokgi Jeongol was super spicy, even with the lowest level of heat available. The shrimp fried rice had a bunch of oil at the bottom of the bowl, which wasn’t very appetizing. Also expected there to be more side dishes.

It's a casual spot with FRESH sizzling hot dishes brought to your table. Excellent customer service, but don't expect 5 star cups and plates. The only downfall was the old Tupperware looking cups/plates. But the food was awesome. The atmosphere is a 3 star as it doesn't really have an ambience to it. Washrooms, well, like I said, don't expect anything to be spectacular!

The food is actually pretty good, but it’s the details that make me feel this is more a three star place. The pork bone soup was nicely flavoured and had a good amount of tender meaty bones. However, it was just lukewarm. Similarly their seafood pancake was decent, though I did find it strange it was full of regular onions instead of green onions. But what bothered me is, instead of the tasty dipping sauce that it normally comes with, they just gave soy sauce packets.

This is one of the most popular Korean pork bone soup in the town. Have been to this place many time and they can keep their quality control pretty well. Food taste delicious and the service is attentive. The price has been raised over the past few years, I think that happens for most places. Hope when the inflation cool down, we can enjoy more of this dishes.

First time being here from the U.S. and it was an amazing experience! I was so into finishing the cold noodle and forgot to take the picture beforehand. The portions of other orders are pretty big and we had more than enough left overs for our dinner. Great place to go when you ate craving for Korean food!

I used to love this place, but very disappointed that I found a hair in my take out dish. Sincerely hoping the kitchen crew can pay more attention to hygiene standards.

The Owl Of Minerva
Just had an incredible dining experience at the Owl of Minerva Korean restaurant! The food was delicious and authentic, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend the Jajangmyeon and the Jeyukbokem, both of which were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making for a great overall dining experience. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!
