J’ai fait la gaffe de leur faire confiance quand j’ai acheté du merisier qui n’est carrément pas de la même couleur que mon plancher original et ils rejettent la faute sur l’installateur... je suis aussi très mécontente du pauvre service à la clientèle que j’ai reçu après l’achat … Je ne recommande pas de faire affaires avec eux...

I dealt with Pierre for a rental of nail gun, compressor to install hardwood flooring. The first rental, he assured me that all the equipment was verified and functioning well. Upon installation, we noticed that the staples were breaking the wood. Unable to reach them. Monday upon return of the rental, another gentleman told me that the compressor probably had to be adjusted and that he would write a note in the file. I called Pierre that morning at 10am after he gets in , to advise him of the problem with the stapling gun. He told me that he would check the stapling gun. When I went to rent the equipment again today, I asked him if he checked the stapling gun and he told me that he installed a bushing as it was missing. This is the same staple gun he verified the week before. He said that when he checked the staple gun the week before he didn't check if the staples were entering properly as that would mean he would have to look carefully on the bottom side where the staples enter. I asked him again, will everything work well. He answered yes.I paid for the rental, Pierre loaded my trunk, closed the trunk and bids me farewell until Monday when I return the equipment.When I got home, the compressor was missing. I called to advise them. Pierre apparently could not come to the phone the woman kept me on hold for a while as she had to verify. I asked to speak to Pierre as he was the one that served me and should know that he did not give me the compressor. But she refused to let me speak to him yet he was talking in the background to her indicating I could be credited the rental as they were closing in 15 min. No apology for forgetting the compressor nor inconvenience to the customer. I had to return to pick up the compressor which was loaded by someone else who dropped it on my bumper.I have always treated everyone with respect and grateful for their service. Prior to the first rental, I provided Pierre and the staff homemade cookies to thank them in advance for excellent service I thought I would get as I was referred to them by a friend.There was no excellent service, no accountability and reliability. Not impressed with the verification and maintenance of their rental equipment .I hope the equipment will work this weekend when we continue installing the hardwood floors.
