Pricey concessions with long & sometimes painfully slow lineups.. poor food.. not the cleanest place as evidence by the well documented rodent infestation - a very lackluster experience in terms of the price you pay to see a movie; especially as a family of 4+ people..I realize we're in YYT, but go to an AMC Cinemas in the USA to see how you're really supposed to enjoy the cinema experience.. quality bars & restaurants, secondary entertainment like arcades & casinos, premium seating, SFX cinemas, etc..

Very well laid out, always adapting to a changing market. The new reserved seating option is awesome. Now you don't have to show up earlier and have to watch all of that junk before the movie!

It's not very clean but it's spacious and it's cheap - I'm from Europe though so take that with a grain of salt - and it's got an Imax so overall 4 stars, 5 if they cleaned it up a bit - flooring is bad and walls could be cleaner.

Love the theatre. It was a bit dicey trying to get my online tickets as the barcode wouldn't scan at the machine, and the construction was a bit inconvenient as the ticket desk was closed because of it. Other than that it was a good experience, lines moved quickly and the theatres were clean and comfortable.

Lots of screens and movies rotating in and out make this a great choice of entertainment. For anyone living in the city I recommend waiting till Tuesdays to see movies for cheaper as some of the pricing is abit expensive. Stars and Strollers is a great event for parents who are avid movie goers but cant always avail of a sitter. Movies are well stocked for babies and toddler care and are generally the movies 90% of audience want to see anyways.

I go to the movie a lot. I enjoy the experience. The ticket prices are fairly reasonable but the concession prices really aren't. I like that there are lots of choices and that you can get a lot of scene points quickly due buying concessions but the prices are too high. I tend to alternate between bringing my own snacks and buying concessions there. It is fair easier on my wallet. The service is pretty good here but I find that if you are ordering pizza or poutine or something other than popcorn then it tends to take longer. Your best bet is to show up with lots of time to spare. Now if they could stop showing so many preview then that would be great too...

I've been going to this theatre for 16 years. My overall experience with this theatre, now owned by Cineplex, is good. Service, food, comfort, sound, cleanliness are all good.It would be nice to have more options for food, especially healthier alternatives and lower prices.

Employees are always attentive and nice, bathrooms are clean and the waits aren't usually too long, but there have always been a few problems I find with each visit. For example: sometimes the condiment tables for hot dogs or anything isn't fully stocked and it can take employees awhile to get them for us, by then, we've missed part of our movie, now this could be a staffing issue as I dont see half as many workers as I used to. Another is food quality, I've gotten cold popcorn more times than warm popcorn, it's still good, but could use some improvement. Otherwise this is a great place to catch a flick, I usually go here a few times a month and will continue going here as I have yet to have a fully negative experience.

I have been going to this theatre for many years, never a bad experience. Food is always fresh, prices are on the high side but about what you expect from a theatre. Restrooms are always clean and the theatre seating is comfortable. This theatre shows multiple showings of movies every day, usually in IMAX and 3D as well. Highly recommended place to visit when you are done sightseeing the beautiful city of St. John’s

I never feel welcomed here. The majority of the staff make me feel like they do not want to serve their guests. It's unfortunate there's no other movie theatre company in St. John's. Bathrooms and theatres are very clean however. Comfortable seating.
