Minos Village Restaurant
For years, Minos was great... but lately it appears they're getting cheap with portions and of course raising cost. Just this evening Oct. 14/17 I ordered a Chicken Brochette Petit, asked for NO Veggies, Extra rice with a cup of gravy on the side, and 2 more skewers. What do I get? Half as much rice as normal, a huge pile of veggies/potatoes, saturated in gravy plus extra gravy in a cup. Complete opposite of what I ordered... it was like burning $30. Extremely disappointed... guess that's one more place I have to think long and hard before ordering again. :(

We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday with a family and friends dinner at Minos. The service provided by Gina Darlene and all the staff was amazing. The food was great and the celebration a huge success.

I attended a family function at Minos. The food and service were OK. Excellent dessert and good coffee. However, my son was charged $11 each for plain salads for his children... pretty expensive for some lettuce and olives! Won't be back.

Minos Village Restaurant
We went here for date night and they had a fixed prix menu for the night. Ordered the spanakopita appetizer - flavour was good but was soggy not crispy. Main was lamb with shrimp. Lamb was cooked perfect on some pieces and others were over. Shrimp wasn't flavorful. Dessert was awesome. Overall could have been better.

We had a large reservation and our server was clearly had to many tables on her hand. Felt bad for her but it seems like there needs to be better management larger tables. Our food was delicious but came out and all the wrong times and very spread out so we were unable to enjoy our meal as a table. It also took a long time to get drinks, and we were given the wrong special menu which really confused everyone. Maybe next time we will have a better experience.

Minos Village Restaurant
My recent visit to Minos was with a small group. We get together for lunch the first Friday of each month and Minos looked after us very well. It's a very large restaurant but with a few walls and floor to ceiling plants it feels very intimate. We've been there many times over the years typically on a special occasion. I always start with a Greek wine such as a red Apelia. That's followed with a large salad with lots of feta cheese and then a big plate full of a tasty main course. If I still have any room, I finish dinner with a delicious Greek cake. The server is always very experienced and professional. The price is on the higher end but is worth it for the special occasion.

Excellent service; very attentive and professional. Too bad the food didn't measure up to the standard set by the server. Steak was tough and bland; all of the people in the group got the same vegetables on their plates regardless of the protein they ordered.

Amazing food, flavourful was so on point and very generous portion sizes! It really says something great about a place when even though it was almost 45 mins late it still deserves a stand up review! Your food made up any ground lost! :-)

My husband, daughter and I went 10/15/17 and the visit was rather disappointing. We have been on several occasions and the meal has been great which is why we chose it this time.Salad was turning brown like it had been sitting, got the prime rib for my husband and I which was main reason for going. It looked medium rare on one side and pan seared on the under side and was by no means the usual thickness or flavour. My daughter had souvlaki and said that was great tasting though. The waitress at no point came back to ask how our meals were. It was as though they didn't want to ask so they didn't come back until they wanted to ask if we wanted dessert.My husband also asked for decaf coffee which the server said she would have to go make and it seemed like it was an incovenience more than anything.Think it will be some time before we attempt this location again sadly.

if you like Greek food, its very nice. Not exciting but really, this isn't the type of restaurant you go to for wild new flavours. You like Greek? Go to Minos. I grew up with Greek friends and neighbors so its not all that exciting for me. Old people dig this place. Seriously, for some its the highest level of ethnic food they will eat. Grandma a little too bent out of shape about something? Minos. Friends from Toronto down for dinner? Go downtown and try something a bit more exiting.
