This is a great place to take your car. Karl and company took great care of my SAAB for the 11 years that I owned it. They were like a rock while the SAAB dealerships closed shop and the service bounced around. They would often have a quick look at my car when things weren't running good and were often able to squeeze me in at the last minute. I've even called Karl when my car wouldn't run and he helped me fix it over the phone. How awesome is that?They have an excellent reputation among other garages in the city and with good reason. My new car is going there when it's out of warranty.

Karl and his team are amazing. I both bought from / starting bringing my Volvo 740 to Scandinavian Auto. In this day and age it is difficult to find a mechanic that is so knowledge, and honest - Karl does not practice the 'throw all the parts you can to fix the problem' approach. I will continue bringing my Volvos to Karl!

I'd give Scandinavian Auto 10 out of 5 stars if that was an option. Karl and his team do great work. They are the most honest, competent mechanics I've ever gone to. I've driven different cars over the years - Swedish, Italian, British, and they work on them all. It's absolutely not close to where I live or work, but I drive the distance to bring my car to this garage. Many thanks, Karl!

Was recommended by my Volvo dealership to come here and am I ever glad that they did. First off....when you call to book an appoinent you'll be greeted by Lee who is one of the most genuine people ever!!!! She's super friendly and helpful and really understands what customer service is all about. Went in for an oil change and my car was taken in at the actual time I booked and completed in the exact time they said. I will definately be servicing my Volvo there from now on.....and if you have a Volvo or SAAB or any vehicle for that matter, so should you!! Keep up the great work!!!

Although I only had an oil change, the service was exceptional given I called only a couple of days in advance and it's not a car parts are available every where. The staff is professional and extremely friendly. All in all service with a smile , quick and efficient and reasonable. Will I be back yes sir!

Despite the absence of the founder Karl, one of the best service Centers I’ve ever encountered, and the ONLY reason I still drive a SAAB. But their competence doesn’t stop there, once brought my Genesis G80 (under warranty no less) in for an oil leak that the dealer screwed up twice, they diagnosed the problem in 15min. Best of all they’ll advise what and when MOT to effect a repair or service, and will only do what is advised.

My experience with this place has been extremely positive. I took my car in for wheel alignment. Nothing fancy. However the interaction was pleasant, the job was well done, the appointment agreed upon was respected and the advice I asked for was nicely provided. I recommend it.

Absolutely flawless service as always. Most honest independent garage in Ottawa region. Been a customer for 28 years, ever since they fixed my car for $8 after being told by another garage in bells corners that it was going to be $2000 to do. This time the total repair was $192 including tax and labor for a new brake caliper. How many garages would charge a HALF hour of labor for any repair in this day and age ?!?
