We dropped by to see the museum and there is a lot to learn. It's location is at the right place halfway between Port Greville and Advocate Harbour. It's got a restaurant that serves really good lobster sandwich and potato salad and also has clean washrooms.

Had an amazing time taking a stroll through Nova Scotia ship building history. Definately a recommendation, if you're in the area, to stop by this museum and take a tour to see hand made miniature ships and more. The surrounding land and winding River behind the buildings are also spectacular and beautiful.

We really enjoyed our recent visit. This is an excellent small museum with a large collection of well displayed artifacts and models spread over three floors in the main building. There are several additional buildings with displays and a pleasant boardwalk and garden. Be sure to watch the fascinating documentary film shot in the early days of moving pictures that followed a large sailing ship on a journey from England around Cape Horn. There is some amazing footage and commentary.

I have two points about how great “AgeOf Sail” is. Employees very polite and helpful. The detail of all the ships and scenes were great. I am bias because my father has boats there. He loved that museum. He believed in it and enjoyed making all his ships from scratch. Keep up the great work. I know even today my father would be proud (Charles Dyas). Congratulations on a great job done by everyone involved

This was an unexpected treasure. High quality exhibits with excellent curation. There is a combination of indoor and outdoor exhibits across several buildings. One of the buildings is shaped like the overturned hull of a ship.Fees are modest $5 adult $4 senior.

This is one of the most fascinating places I have visited. The staff was extremely knowledgeable. The most friendly people anywhere. You can watch the tide come in and out. Being the Bay of Fundy this is a spectacular sight to see. Can not say enough about the friendly people. We went back three times in our visit.

This little museum is championed by a small handful of volunteers. They loving care for the grounds and work hard to create a community passionate about the ship building history in the area.If you are interested in a rich maritime history coupled with a working blacksmith shop, this museum is a must!
