New Lodge

DO NOT STAY !!! Shouldn’t be up and running !!We had planned and booked to stay here for 3 nights, on arrival the car park was filled with homeless people and people clearly under the influence. We immediately felt unsafe and when looking at the hotel you could see smashed windows and glass everywhere. The receptionist was lovely and clearly can see it’s an unsafe area and place to stay as he called us to check if we were okay once in our room. Inside the hotel was very run down and people under the influence who had no idea what was going on were inside the building staying there. This hotel should not be advertised and is not a safe welcoming place.

You can’t beat the price and it will make you appreciate coming home after. I stayed for a week just to sleep at night so I didn’t care about most of the stuff. They told me they only had the one key so a cleaner would not come by. That was fine with me since I didn’t want to be bothered. The faucets all leaked. I saw no bugs. The cigarette smoke percolating up through the building was the worst thing. I had to keep the window open the whole time to breathe and there was no heat turned on till the weekend. The floors of course were filthy so I kept my shoes on the whole time. I never touched the floor without shoes. I bought a lovely air freshener to put next to my pillow at night. It was a hilarious experience though. My rental car cost me more than this room did. If the car had a shower I would have lived in that instead.

Disgusting was placed here after I had my child first thing we find was a dirty used needle in the hallway, why allow children to stay if your not look after the place right and watching who you allow to check in

I had stayed at this place less than a month ago. Upon arrival the check in was slow. I arrived on the floor I was booked in & it was FILTHY. Crumbs, garbage, stains EVERYWHERE. I went in my room is it was TRASH. It looked as nothing was cleaned in months. Not to mention COCKROACHES everywhere. The floor hasn’t been swept. Bed sheets were stained. To top it off there was no electricity & I had asked to move to another room & they said “it was all they had” I was disgusted & absolutely livid. I did not spend the night. The front desk did not even care about the rooms when I notified them it was a pig farm. Also, upon arrival an older couple was ahead of me & they went to complain of how disgusting their room was & the front desk told them the same thing “that’s just our rooms” PATHETIC. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone!! I will filing a formal complaint as well. If I can give it a zero rating , I would!

Hotel Smells absolutely Terrible and the rooms as well. My room had a strong odour of chlorine yet it was still filthy.WIFI was terrible.Felt like I was staying in a crack den.

Everything seemed fine until I stepped off the elevator to a smell similar to a horse stall. Right away I noticed dirt and pieces of old food and cigarette butts on the floor. Already disappointed I made my way down the hall to my room. Dirty floor and cockroaches climbing on the bathroom wall. Took my things and went back down the elevator to the lobby and got a refund. Total stay was under 15 minutes.

DONT STAY HERE. I cannot believe how dirty this place was. Sickened and saddened they take money for this place from people who have no other choice. DISGUSTING FILTHY RIGHT FROM WALKING IN THE DOOR IT GETS WORSE RIGHT TO THE ROOMS! I seen two cockroaches as well as one squished right on the wall in the room. I told the front desk clerk when I said we aren't staying there.. he did not even bat an eye ! IF could give a zero rating I would !

There was shattered glass in the parking lot, the first bad sign. When I walked into the lobby, I immediately felt the vibe was off. A gentleman in front of me in line was canceling his reservation and warned that I should too. I wasn't going to but there was an issue with my debit card and the deposit amount, so I did end up canceling and going to another hotel nearer the airport. But the staff person was really nice and friendly.
