Took my dog here for the first time today and will definitely be a long term patient for my pups!Thought my pittie had a broken toe in the AM and my regular vet close to home couldn’t get us in for another week, called Lakeside and thankfully they were able to fit me in the same afternoon.Walking in the place is small, not really a con but with how busy they are it gets cramped quickly.Front staff were very professional - I read reviews saying they need better customer service but I thought all the staff were very straight to the point and professional. Everyone seemed like they had 50 things on the go at the same time so you can’t expect the staff to sit and chat with you while you’re checking in, it’s clear their priority is the animals and that’s exactly what you want in a vet clinic.They were very quick to get us back for the exam, had no problem respecting my request to keep my dog at distance from others so she doesn’t bark and they were awesome with her. She was wagging her tail the entire time and evening whining at the staff who walked past without petting her so I knew my pup was very comfortable here even while being in pain!Price was extremely budget friendly for an exam, x rays and medication and the staff were very thorough going over the aftercare and other signs to watch for. I would highly recommend a visit here and bonus points that they’re open on weekends

The owner of the veterinary practice (Dr Allen) is nothing short of amazing!On Friday, I called Pulse and was told it was an 8+ hour wait and we’re told to go to Vet ER, we waited at the emergency vet in Edmonton on Friday night for over 4 hours without being seen, I left as my dog was stable. On Saturday I called all the vets in Sherwood Park (mine is closed on Saturdays) the vets I called were either closed for the long weekend or they were full.I ended up calling Lakeside vet and they told me to come in, in 30 minutes.Upon my arrival, the vet explained that he was originally going to be closed on Saturday for the long weekend but he decided to open on short notice and for that reason he was short staffed as he let everyone have the day off ❤️As he was short staffed, no one knew how to work the computer for billing, invoices etc.The vet let me leave without paying and trusted that I’d be back on Tuesday to pay. (Which I did)My Bella was seen really fast, and he explained everything so well to me. He was so kind to my dog.This vet is one of a kind and I highly recommend him to anyone and of course his wonderful staff, who worked so hard with the tools they had!The one and only downside here is that they don’t work with Tru-Panion (my insurance provider)

Absolutely the best ever!Dr Anwar is so caring and thoughtful and I feel as though our dogs are in the best of care! Support staff are excellent kind and very friendly.I’ve had dogs my entire life and my experiences with this veterinary practice is exceptional beyond words!!!

Took my dog in for an ear infection as my regular vet was booked up and couldn’t see us. They charged me the cost of the medication twice. When I questioned it I was told “we treated both ears”. I was in the room with you, no we didn’t treat both ears. We only treated the left inflamed one. I asked them to check with the vet and received an eye roll and a “whatever I don’t know”. The tech Vanessa needs an attitude adjustment. Incredibly rude. We’ll take our business elsewhere.

Took my 12 year old Husky in for major dental work, she needed multiple extractions that my regular vet couldn’t do. They advised me of my options, gave me great advise and got us in in 3 days from her initial exam. Dr Anwar and the team did an amazing job with my old girl and she’s on the mend. I expected to pay way more for what we had done and was happy with the after care instructions and the compassion the team had with us. We will return for sure.

This vet clinic is the best one I've found for care for my cats. They care about the animals and their family. They have always seen my cats when needed. They also handled the passing of one of my cats in such a gentle way.They are also reasonably priced compared to some other vets I used to see.

I only have good things to say about this clinic. I know that Dr. Elena and Dr. Allan are wonderful vets and I have seen amazing results when I followed their advice. They know what they are doing. My 3 month puppy almost died due to GI infection, took him to Pulse emergency (DO NOT GO THERE) spend over 1000$ but all he was given was a sleeping pill and no antibiotics after blood tests (that showed infection) and ultrasound, this clinic immediately took him in and gave all the medications to him. My puppy was feeling better by the end of the day. They are flexible, very accommodating and also give advice over the phone. I never had any issues at all with anything. I will highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Anwar and everyone at Lakeside were incredible providing emergency surgical care for our 14yr old little dog. Caring & compassionate for both the animal and owners that was so much appreciated and beyond expectations. Our pup made it through with no complications as is good as new! We have had the dis-pleasure of other vet clinics in this area, Lakeside Veterinary Clinic shows how animal care SHOULD be done....absolutely recommended!!
