Ashmont Food & Liquor Store

Friendly clerk like you would typically find in a small Alberta hamlet. If you don't know what a hamlet is, look it up on an Alberta government website, and no, it's not Shakespeare's Hamlet. (Typically, it's smaller than a village, though, technically, Sherwood Park is a hamlet. It's governed by Strathcona county, doesn't have its own town or village council.). It's the Ashmont all-things store; groceries, liquor, Post Office, and they even rent and sell DVDs.

Great service very nice people , they accept parcels from pretty much any company makes country life much easier !

This little store has been in this community a very long time. The service here is very good and they are a family based business. They keep the store very clean and well stocked. Especially being it's the only one for miles away.

The new owners say they’re no longer accepting FedEx, UPS or DHL packages. Only Canada Post packages.Well I’m no longer shopping at Ashmont store then. Spedden has a food & liquor store 5 minutes down highway 28…

DO NOT SHOP HERE! SCAMMERS AND MONEY THEIFS. This is not the first time the added extra items to the bill.The picture added is what happened and I am sick of being takin advantage of. The people who own the place are of Asian decent. The women does not know English or pretends not to. It is hard to communicate with her. Anyways I bought only one pack of smokes that night. I thought it was not right when I added up the amount in my head.I ask for a receipt and I see she charged me for 2 packs. Not cool in my books she admitted to the adding the extra smoke by saying yes yes yes sorry sorry.. Made me mad mad mad. She gave me back the money for the mistake she made by getting caught stealing my money. People please stay away from This place!!! Shop just less the 5 mins down the road in spedden. They have a small store that has everything ashmont does and for 60% cheaper. Also one of our visits here i grabbed a loaf of bread. I noticed the bread loaf didn't look right. I compared it to another one and it was missing two slices. Hahahahahha like what the heck. This place is dirty and a rip-off. There is a cool ashmont girl working there she is really nice i will miss seeing her.Picture info:LD (cigarettes cheap brand lol) as seen being charged twice, when only one pack was what I wanted.

Some pretty good deals to be had here. Price-matched some selections for me that were on competitors flyers.
