Glassy Beach
A decent looking spot. A small beach that can accommodate hardly 2 -3 groups..it has got a picnic table which is distorted. The place has several insects so would definitely recommend carrying a bug spray..the walk to the beach is a bit complex with uneven surfaces and roots all around. The glasses are not huge in number. It can be renovated to make it more attractive. Huge room for improvement. If you're lucky you can see the iceberg.. only two parking spots outside the glassy beach. The road connecting the beach is uneven and turns to be a gravel road for about 2-3km.

It is a nice place for picnic and enjoying a gorgeous view whiling looking at the sea of glasses in brown, white and green under your feet. The peacefulness and calmness of this place has made itself a great spot to relax in a nice summer day. But I agree with some comments that people are collecting sea glass that they aren't supposed to even though with warming signs at the entrance.

Small patch of beach, and absolutely littered with seaglass. It's a cool place to visit, just to see it.Short walk down a rooty" path to get there.Potential for town to have information posted about history

It's about a 20 minute detour from TCH but it's worth the trip if you're in no hurry passing by! The glass beach itself is tiny but the view of the bay is lovely. The road goes to dirt and there is a small cleared area with room for 2 cars to park. The hike down to the beach is short but very steep, with lots of berries in late summer. There is a picnic table and a sign asking you not to take the glass from the beach. Lots of interesting pieces to appreciate though!

If you’re in the area it’s a fun little spot to check out, and perhaps have some food or swim. I wouldn’t go miles out of my way to see this thoughThe path down to the beach is a short walk from the (small) car park. There’s a fair few tree roots so perhaps not ideal for those with mobility concerns

Glassy Beach was a wonderland for Sea/beach glass lovers. Hiking trail was very short like 500 meters but there were no washroom facilities. Since it is located within city so everything is nearby. There were only few people on beach.

It's well picked over, but you'll still find plenty of green, brown and white glass. Great place for those crafty people, even if a sign tells you not to remove any glass... Expect a short and narrow, somewhat steep incline path to get there.

It was OK. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it. The path was messy due to the recent rain. It wasn't a difficult walk but rooty so watch your step. The beach is small and littered with glass remnants. There was an iceberg in the bay when we were there. The Indian River Walk in Springdale was far more enjoyable.

Beautiful little spot. Amazing all the glass there. A must stop and see if you are around the area.
