Alex MacAulay Photography is a ten out of ten. Highly recommend! Alex and Kate are outstanding. Their approach was relaxed, inclusive and light. They made the process simple and fun for all of us!! We had family photos done in their studio and the environment was great. Lots of options for whatever you are looking for. The photos are exactly what we asked for and exceeded all expectations. Alex and Kate captured the most beautiful photos of our children and our family. We have 3 small children so having our family photos done has always been stressful and an ordeal. Not this time :) Alex and Kate were very professional while maintaining a comfortable and fun atmosphere. You know those living room photos you see on Pinterest with the most beautiful family Photos… this is how you achieve that. I would 100% recommend Alex and Kate and we will be using them for our furtive photos.

Alex and Kate photographed an event and a portrait session for our organization in April 2022 and they were phenomenal!They were kind, easy to work with, and understood our needs quickly. Kate and Alex took our wedding photos and since then we have worked with them for family shoots. We treasure our wedding & family photos - anyone can take a picture but Kate and Alex work together to capture how you feel.. the energy in the room. Of all the things we spent money on at our wedding, our photos were the hands down best part. Kate and Alex are fun to work with- truely a way to make your special day even more memorable. We hired Alex for photos of our corporate event. We had multiple meeting rooms and locations to capture and we were concerned about the interruption of having a photographer along, but Alex was a dream to have around. He seamlessly integrated into the team and captured CANDID, NATURAL and FLATTERING shots of all of us - which is quite a challenge with our animated group. He was very flexible with our schedule as changes came up and even joined us on a team hike! Our entire team enjoyed having Alex with us for the day and we can’t say enough good things about the actual photos that he captured. The turn around time on the edited photos was great and all of the shots that he captured are perfect for our internal and external marketing. We look forward to booking Alex again for our corporate needs and any personal projects that come up. A very warm THANK YOU Alex, you made our event extra special!

Alex and Kate did an exceptional job with our daughter's highschool graduation photos. The session itself was very relaxed and efficient. They went out of their way to ensure we would have a beautiful selection of poses to choose from. We had a digital gallery sent to us within 24 hours and were blown away at the quality of images. They were all so stunning, it was difficult to choose. Once we selected our choices, the retouched, digital images were ready the next day. Their online ordering system was super easy and Alex was very accommodating through the entire process. We couldn't be happier with the experience, and of course, the gorgeous photos!

Alex (and his other half, Kate) were absolutely fantastic to work with and the product we received is beyond what we had hoped for. A friend recommended Alex as a photographer and she reminded me that I owed her one after seeing our wedding photos. Not only is Alex professional, but he is extremely responsive, organized, and quick on the shutter for all those candid moments. We really appreciated the sneak peek (and how quickly Alex had it prepared) and the whole of our package was ready much much quicker than we anticipated. We love every single shot... We highly recommend him/them!!!!!!

I am not a person who enjoys having their picture taken...however, I needed some headshots for work so had no choice. My experience with Alex and his lovely wife, Kate, was just wonderful! They are so friendly and personable, putting me at ease immediately. It was fast, organized and my boss also raved about how she loved the results; the variety of poses; quality of the images; how the proofs were so easy to review online; and how quick and easy the final (touched up) files were received electronically. I will definitely be using them again for any future photography needs...professionally or personally!! Anyone looking for a photographer should definitely check them out!

I was so impressed with Alex and Kate! As soon as we stepped out of the car, we were greeted by Kate and I immediately felt comfortable - as if I had known her for years. Taking a reluctant grade 12 boy for grad photos was a bit of a challenge, but Alex worked hard to get the perfect poses! The proofs came back almost immediately and we loved all of them. Every email I sent was answered quickly and I’m so impressed with their service. I can’t wait to see the final re-touched photos.
