It was good vibes hanging out with friends and dogs on the patio. Great beer and food. Friendly stuff and they all like dogs. They also provided water and treats for our dogs as well. Had a great experience and will definitely go back. They expanded their patio, so it has lots of room now.

Food is convenient and tasty for such a venue. Ambiance is usually fun. Staff needs more training and more interest in their duties. Being told that the kitchen is closed at 21:00 when schedule says it is 21:30 is quite disappointing and reflects how restaurants can't train properly. If Kitchen closes at 21:30 then last order is at that time. Obviously staff gives themselves 30 minutes to close... Lazy people. And poor service.

Really enjoyed this spot. Great outdoor patio with good service. Tried a flight of beer, all very solid but nothing outstanding. We also had the street car fries which were good and a salad.

Firstly, I want to say that the beer, food and service has been solid every time I’ve been. I love that my dog can join me too.I also want to say a HUGE thank you to the staff today who let us wait inside the heated patio during a fire evacuation from our building across the street. It was -36 in the windchill and all of our pets weren’t happy. They invited us to sit in the heated patio and offered us water and blankets. It was so appreciated. Will be back for beers soon!

Always 10/10 when we come here! The patio is awesome in the summer. Dogs allowed which is nice! The grapefruit beer is my favourite!! The food is always delicious too.

I'm so glad we decided to give this place a try. Good service and the food exceeded my expectations. I would come back for the amazing chicken tacos. The patio is dog friendly too.

Ok so its sad to say haven’t checked this place earlier, but Sunday I decided to and am I ever happy I did.I enjoyed the Maria Loop Blueberry beer, so good, then I was undecided on the Fish & Chips (Cod - The only fish and chips I eat) and the Marda IPA Sirloin Burger, I think of myself as a burger connoisseur. So I went with the Marda IPA Sirloin Burger, and I have to say, one of my favourite burgers of all time. So delicious in flavour and just the next burger. I will be back again, over and over again.

Beer selection was just enough so you won’t have the hard time choosing which one to drink. We ordered fries and the amount were good for 3-4 people for a reasonable price. The ambience and design were chill and eclectic at the same time. We liked the industrial look and there were several materials/posters about the history of Marda Loop brewery and The Prohibition era. Lots of tables inside and at the patio. Nice brewery within the surrounding quiet neighbourhood.

Congratulations to the whole team at MLB! We've been repeat guests since we moved to Calgary 3 years ago. The entire team is friendly, they recognize us when we walk in and are so good with kids and dogs.The food is always solid, as are the beers. The service is usually prompt and attentive but not intrusive. The place is always clean, and bonus points for the bathroom actually having stocked and working change tables for little ones.They also support local charities with their coin program which is a really cool idea as well.We'll always be happy to support and recommend MLB to all friends and family. Cheers!
