The room felt very clean and spacious, the washroom felt huge and it was svery clean, the layout is very good and it is beautiful during sunset. No matter if you get a city view or river valley view. The food at the bistro was very good aswell and the breakfest buffet was so amazing, it felt like food you would be made for breakfest as a kid but just better.During our stay there was a scheduled power outage but it went for longer than planned so they offered to transfer us to farimount and they covered the charges. We ended up staying another night at Fairmount.Overall courtyard was very high quality and we felt very comfortable. Also very close to many shops and resturants aswell as city centre.

The room was adequate at best. The breakfast buffet was pedestrian. The steak dinner was tough and had to be sent back but the replacement was great. The front desk and valet staff were excellent. 3 stars is only because of the front desk staff.

We were in Edmonton for a friends Bachelorette and had two rooms. The staff were so kind and helpful (Especially Natalie at check in, and during the evening!). Wish we had a chance to try the restaurant, it looked like a great menu. Unfortunately no pool, but other than that no complaints!

The hotel is very convenient if you need to go to the convention center. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great food and service. The rooms, however, are less than average, especially for the price that we were charged. The $40 a day parking is also a little much, although I do understand that parking in downtown is a challenge.

Great location! The hotel is centrally located in Downtown Edmonton, highly elevated with amazing views, close to businesses, restaurants, and a lot more. LThe staff were so friendly and attentive..It provides a comfortable and pleasant stay, with spacious rooms and several amenities such as a fitness center and a business center. It doesn’t provide complimentary breakfast or free parking, and these two are quite dealbreakers when it comes to selecting a hotel.Overall, it's a good option for travelers looking for a reliable and comfortable stay in downtown Edmonton.

Got a room here as the Marriott is generally really consistent and worth the price. This was the worst Marriott I have ever stayed. The A/C didn’t work at all and the room stayed around 26c all night. When I told the front desk girl she just shrugged it off and said I’m sorry… this is close to $300 per night and a sorry just doesn’t cut it

So I stayed with this hotel for my graduation, booked with our university discount but charged a regular rate when it was checkout time. The rooms look nice but pretty basic for the fees they charge. Was never told there was a fee for a cot though they claim it wasn’t complimentary no price was ever given until checkout. Thanks to the original lady for a room upgrade because the 1st room was very small. My sister did come to surprise me for the day so I understand inquiring about the extra adult but if you’re charging me for a cot anyways why double charge by adding on for the adult? The restaurant is pretty good. 1st day didn’t have a great experience with a server but she turned it around very well the remainder of my stay so I won’t name her. Kudos to her for turning things around. Honestly I would have given all 4s had Temi not been so quick to charge Willy nilly for things I was unaware of. Based on these things I’m not sure I would recommend but the view is beautiful. Try your luck I guess. She turned what was a fantastic stay to a surprise billing nightmare. Thanks to Angelo for helping reduce some charges but I really should have received my university discount rate otherwise why should I stay with Courtyard over the other hotel? Oh and please go to the donair & burger shop around the corner! Delicious!!

I can understand why they have a 3 star rating. The staff is nice and helpful but I reported an issue (see photos) on a Monday after breakfast, even emailed a similar pictured to the person at the front desk as asked. They said breakfast would be comped. Came back after work the reson I was visiting Edmonton, and the issue had not been addressed. I took a better look at the bathroom and can tell what the issue" was or is. Looks like someone got sick and well it went all over. For the most part the b room was clean but some spots like the one in the photos. Reported it again after the breakfast that I had to re-explain to get comped as the previous person did not put any note for the breakfast staff. So reported again on Tuesday and still not fixed. At this point I gave up so started putting things on the hook to see if that would work. Well nope! So last day (Friday) I put the hair dryer on it. But no clue if it was ever resolved. They need someone to properly follow up on issues like this if they ever want to get better ratings. Will stay at the Westin next time and see how that goes."

On a front desk, they say price for a parking lot a 14$/per a night, after check out I have a bill on 40$ for parking. Looks like scumming. I couple times doublecheck price for parking and all times hear price for a 14 per a night. Room be a dirty. Old hair on a floors, old leaks in toilet. Our room be first from elevator exit, and all night we hear people who leave from elevator. Horrible expierence, never stay here again!

The hotel has multiple homeless people lingering outside the front of the property and though there is security they don’t seem to do anything about it. Elevators were down the whole stay for ‘cleaning’. How long does it take to clean an elevator? The front desk never answers the phone so you have to go downstairs to even speak to someone making valet parking an annoying service for $40/day. Rooms are average, at best. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
