tried calling Geek Squad in Kelowna and couldn't ever get through to talk to a real human. Same experience when trying to call Best Buy. Quite frustrating when I don't live in Kelowna and just need some general assistance with products I purchased there. BS.

Used to be great!!! Had a business membership and now you can’t get any help without calling the 1800 number just to have them not be able to help you. I canceled my business membership and got charged me $180 cancelation. Lol.

Not only is their pricing unreasonable. They cancelled my warranty without notification or any attemp to contact me. After paying for over a year when my product broke they said too bad we missed a payment so we cancelled your membership. No call, no email. Just wasted money. Customer service was horrible long wait times. They would hang up (I wasn't being rude on phone) and they were extremely defensive/resistant about taking an issue to supervisor or manager. Even the manager did not speak to me in person, just left a message and refused call back to actually discuss.Save yourself the cash. Self insure or find a company with a modicum of professionalism and morals.

Save yourself the headache and don't go to geek squad. My experience start to finish was terrible and frustrating. Starting with talking to Adrian who was not helpful and not good at explaining what needed to be done to the computer. I dropped off my laptop to get my photos uploaded to iCloud. I got my computer back with some photos on iCloud, some were on google drive, and I was missing over 3000 photos completely - which I did not notice until I was home. When I went back Adrian charged me for a USB drive with my missing photos on it. Why am I being charged for my own photos that you took off my computer when that's not what I wanted in the first place? Extremely frustrating experience. I will not be returning, and cancelling my membership. Only reason they get one star is because I can't give none.

No actual knowledge of PC's. Claim to install AV software and do scans, but simply leave PC on for 2 days, doing nothing to it. Windows event log shows every application run, installed etc. Check your event log and you will see NOTHING done... and for that, they will charge over 200.00. Do yourself a favor and use an ACTUAL technician.

I had a lot of issues : waiting hours on the phone to have an agent, when finally I had, he didn't me give all the details about claims... I sent the TV and I wait weeks to have the email with the refund : I went 3 times to best buy of course geeksquad told me to go to the best buy customer s service. Speaking of them they were very good, even an employee stayed at least 30min at the phone to try to fix the problem. Unfortunately it didn't work after hours on the phone and 3 times to best buy shop I had my email refund. Now I have an other problem actually the same but for expresso machine, calls... To hear they already sent the email... Nope ! Worst service ever. Best buy shouldn't work with them, I will never buy to best buy again because of geek squad service.

Worst Service ever!!!! Purchased their warranty for our Washer & Dryer. Both called it quits. Took them 3 weeks to have someone to come and look at the units. Washer is not repairable and issued us a credit for in store for the washing machine. The Geek squad protection Replacement plan that we purchased clearly says we fix it or replace it. The location we purchased the unit from would not replace the unit because the Samsung is no longer available and that we must use the credit towards a new unit (which is clearly more $$$).SO DISAPPOINTED and feel scammed by this protection plan that we purchased ($250 plan). I called geek squad to have them explain to me what this plan may or may not include and she just said someone will call me in the next few days and then hung up on me while I was asking her a question.Going on 5 weeks with no washer and dryer and no help or answers from this service.

Worst place unknowledgeable expensive unfriendly. Told me it wa better to buy a new laptop which was only 6 months old then fix it btw i bought it there. Say it was too old to be fixed.

These guys were great! They set up our new laptop, transferred our data from two other laptops and patiently answered all our questions. They were available, helpful and knowledgeable. was quoted $400 for a motherboard replacement on a laptop. When the price came back they wanted $1200!!! They didnt say that there was any additional damage, only the motherboard. In what world is a motherboard replacement $1200. That was for a refurbished" part too
